  • Hey man, just wanted to say: thats some really really good work you've done on your e36, i love it!
I also like this build thread of yours, you inspired me, i think i may even start my own thread when the time is right... btw have you ever considered painting your wheels gold? i think it may look cool, but it would have to be darker gold, not a very bright one. anyway, i hope that your car will serve you good man

I did consider changing the color of the wheels, but I ended up liking more the silver every time. Considering the color of the car, I think that silver suits it best.

                  • Finally got some time to up-date this build thread.
                    So here we go...

                    rear camber arms

                    rear tires
                    Nankang NS-1
                    Specs: 215/40/17

                    hidden valve stems

                    and wheels
                    ESM 002.
                    Specs: Front 8.5 et20
                    Rear 10 et15

                    Onto the installation.

Started by mounting rear tires. Wasn't able to put them on the car for a few days due to the wheel's offset so had them laying in my living room and this made my gf pretty upset
This is how the stretch looks. 215 40 on 17".

After test-fitting the front wheels I decided that more camber was needed.

I went ahead and shimmed the girl out,.
Its a very cheap, ghetto fix but it does the job very good.

Went ahead and installed 205/40/17 tires on the front wheels and put them on the car.

Next on the list were the camber arms.

Took some pics with the camber before alignment just for the sake of it...
It was around -8 degrees camber, and the arms were not stretched at their max...

Anyways, placed it on the bed and took a proper alignment.

No pictures on the ramp but I set the rear camber to -5.5 degrees.
In the front the camber is -3.8 degrees.

The rear lip is resting on the fender and the front needs spacers and more low.

Next on the list was a set of polyurethane bumpstops for the rear, and 15mm spacers for the front.

And finally this is how it sits

                    Cheers.
