  • Riding the Pony 2009 V6 Mustang

So I gave up on the G6 as the aftermarket just wasn't there. I am now working on a 09 Mustang Pony Edition 45th Anniversary. Now keep in mind I don't really have much done to it yet. I'm getting married in june and thats where the majority of the money has been going. I do have it dropped, that was the 2nd mod I did to the car first being a exhaust system.

Here was the day I bought it. HOLY 4x4

    Here it is now.

Not really low, but this is a bit of a problem.

I've never been a fan of this gen mustang, but you're in the right direction. Looking really clean

I am thinking about something around 18x9.5 all the way around. I want something that will not sink in so much, but I also don't want to be poking out either. A flush setup or something pretty close would be pretty good to me.

Looks like a nice cruiser. What are you planning for it?

Drop it, some nice wheels, lip kit, hood, full bolt ons, couple small suspension upgrades and call it a day. It will be kinda low and REALLY SLOW lol.

Honestly I love this body style more than the current gen mustang. Also I think it makes more sense to stance a v6 over a v8 because you're going to end up driving REALLY slow anyway hahaha.

Just no... In my household we've had quite a few mustangs including a 4 cyl fox, a v6 '96, and a built small block '84 fox... The 4cyl was the slowest car I've driven in my life. Slower than my 4 speed manual 240D diesel.

If you're getting married, stop spending any money on it now.

Trust me, I'm getting married in September this year.
