  • Raleks e46ci - slow, low budget build.

I should call it - slow, low budget, reasonable stance project.

3 months ago i sold my LS430 reason why? - because i got enough of poor parts availability for these cars... Or maybe because of thickness of my wallet

Anyway... i decided to buy something cheaper and easier to build. I needed a replacement car quickly, so 2 hours after i sold Lexus i bought this BMW 320ci:

it has 2.2 engine, 5 speed manual. Not a bullet, but good enough for daily, and it is cheaper on tax and petrol.
After few days i bought cheap coilovers (just 240 euro with extended drop links) They have good drop, but to be honest, they are pretty shit. (springs are actually making a noises on light bumps) But what can we expect from 240 euro suspension. Anyway they keep me low and im happy

After a while my friend donated me 20mm spacers that have been left from his old BMW project....
Thats how car sits with CSL reps 18x8 front and 18x9rear, on budget coils with 20mm spacers on the rear.

Also i modified front optics. For 80 euro ive got bolt on projector lenses with 8000K xenon, also ordered Warm white ccfl angel eyes.

Well, i want to get bigger csl rims and go lower but i cant due to bad quality of irish roads and enormous amount of speed bumps everywhere, so i think i stick to these 18inch rims, and try to go wider. Soon i will order camber plates on the front and 15 or 20mm spacers (not sure yet).
Already have done cutting, rolling, pulling on rear arches and on big bumps wheels still rubbing
One big disaster in this car is Audio system....specially after lexus, wich had one of the best stock sound systems. Planning to improve the quality of sound as much as i can. Ive got allready 6.5inch Lanzar vibe compos on the front, which are a little bit to deep for e46, so need to modify a doors a bit and do sound deadening. Also JBL power plant is laying in my room, waiting for its hour.
