Re-drill? Not on this car. Just as bad as buying knock offs in my opinion. I would go e30 m3 five lug and do it the right way first time around.
Sadly, I don't want BBS wheels.
The Team Dynamics Rally wheel is very attractive to me but I can't seem to find much info about how to acquire a set. Very 80's DTM.
Please don't ruin this stunning car with replica wheels. You've done everything right so far.
I'll put this into perspective:
We, as adults, have shoes that only come out for dress occasions right? But the rest of the time we're wearing something cheaper and still stylish.
You wouldnt wear Dunk SB's to a formal event and vice versa.
See what I'm getting at?
I would like a set of "decent" wheels to daily around on, and then have a really crazy and rare set to put on for shows. Same principal applies for my track car.
Decent set for daily and meet use. I do have shitty, lower offset ones to throw on the rear to accommodate more rubber. And if I were to explode one after hitting the wall, I wouldn't care at all.
I'm not going to skimp in the wheel/tire & suspension department. Trust me.
Are you going to give Levent & Joel credit for this build?
Absolutely. I didnt want to just name drop without giving a proper introduction and a well deserved shout out.
I don't think too many people (other than BMW owners) in the stance community really know who's who. I could be wrong.
They (Joel, Turk, Levent) are rightfully credited on e30tech and R3V, but I wanted to head back to the shop and take photos of them and make a post in here.
I don't know where or what you were getting at with that post, but yes;
****I DID NOT*** build this car. I bought the shell, the engine and paid for a paint job. The rest was taken care of by Guten Parts & Service. It's a clean swap. Excellent customer service. Paint (paint shop *not* affiliated Guten Parts& Service) needs a few minor touch up's but I'm happy with the overall result. I'll have to write up another post regarding both topics.
Who are you? Have we ever met in person? I rarely ever go to Philadelphia.

We may have met. I havent owned an E30 in years, but I have parted the ones I have owned and Levent has had/sold most of those parts to fellow community members. My name is Andy, my parents house isnt too far from GPS, so Levent and I go back a few years now (~2005ish)
IIRC, the shell belonged to Andre (coldaccord) on the E30 forums. He is a very good friend of mine. He also owned the grey euro S50 touring that vlad turned into the M3 touring clone (ew)
I didnt mean anything by my OP, just like to see credit where credit is due!

No doubt! All good man, nothing taken the wrong way, just confused.
The GPS team did a bang-up job with the swap!
Thanks for the brief history on the car. Maybe you could point your friend, Andre, in my direction as I have a few questions for him regarding the sound system that was in this car.
woot! this car will come out very nice when I'm finished sorting out all the little things.
So I like that the battery is in the engine bay, as it frees up the rear battery tray and allows me to use it as a storage area.
However, I feel that I should re-do the cooling setup to e30 M spec. (coolant res in the tray) The feed tube from the m42 reservoir is lower than the coolant neck on the block.
So the plans are as follows:
Mishimoto e30 M3 radiator
New Oe hoses
New Oe fan shroud
New thermostat
New Coolant reservoir to be placed where the battery is
Turner motorsport lower pan baffle
Feal 441 coil overs
New control arms
New bushings all around in 90A
12mm subframe risers
Have headliner re-upholstered
clean all the fabric
dyna mat to reduce road noise
install a sound system
repair/replace damaged leather pieces (drivers door card and drivers b pillar cover)
replace glovebox
Wire up fog lights
euro grilles
euro ellipsoids
have paint touched up in a few spots
try to locate non-rusty lift gate
maybe ix skirts?
still can't decide on wheels though.
Andre, you're more than welcome to come see when you are in the area.

Went to the euro house last weekend to hangout with my water polo friends before they graduate. They were having a party, and their cars were looking sweet in the sunset.
I have since my last update put on KAMOTORS' standard size flaps. keeps my paint free of road grime. I also did a Hella H4/H1 retrofit. Fckers are brighter than hell, its like i'm driving with the sun out infront of me.
This week I attended the Bimmers and Coffee meet out here in white plains. Due to a large crowd and a ton of idiots, we ended up getting shut down twice and relocating to yonkers for the evening. Cops had me delete most of my pictures. I'll take some after i rinse my car off, I had it polished and sealed. Looks killer!
