Nice progress man! very cool build, as for the real/fake wheel argument, over the years ive been through both and received an equal amount of ****, I made my stock 08 is350 into a VIP style build, started with ES1 wheels and wore out my flame suite, ended up with legit HREs and about 15 different setups after.. Ive paid 400 for wheels, and Ive paid 7000 for wheels, it all depends on the look your going for, at the end of the day i justify buying real wheels because of the quality of a 3 piece rim. You can get real wheels for 1k, some just need refinishing which is all apart of the fun! At the end of the day, everyone gets flamed for fake wheels and when they finally get real wheels, they flame everyone after them with fake wheels. Its a viscous cycle, I hope that after all you've been through, you wont be just another guy flaming the new kids for their wheel choices Keep updating us with pics, and whats the word on getting the Lexus you mentioned?

Yeah dude just send me a pm and I'll get back with detail when I'm not in class, also my door closes perfectly fine whenever I park the car for a long time I just close that little door and hides everything

Okay so I got an email from vip modular saying they ran out of the wheels I ordered so I can either get a different bolt pattern but have to buy adapters or search for new wheels (( what do you guys think of ForgeStar wheels? I wanna do 19x12 rear and 18x11 front double staggered and they're the only wheel company that can do it for me in the time I need them by. Any input?

so I've been getting quite some updates on the car, air struts still aren't here so I'm patiently waiting BORED not driving the car too much.

So i decided to rewire my management and clean it up how it should be, also relocated my compressor, dynamat dampened my trunk and brought the air tank lower so i can get back some trunk space.

    Here's a before and after

    before

    after

i did everything myself and came out much better than i thought for it being my first time doing it, the subwoofer box is still out of the car because I'm getting a custom trunk done for weakfest this may! it should be cool!

Ive been getting in the habit of tackling more jobs as much as possible, bought a skill saw and a sawzal to get more work done that involves cutting, had to remove my aftermarket exhaust because i got a fix it ticket so instead of risking it and putting it back on, i finally put in my electric cutout exhaust, cut the pipes myself, wired it myself and welded it with the help of my dad heres a picture i took in between the process
(for those who don't know what an electric cutout is, its an electronic valve that pretty much straight pipes your car with the push of a button inside the car and gives you the option of turning it off which pretty much puts your exhaust back to stock, its pretty cool sometimes when I'm driving at night i turn it off to get a more quiet and comfortable drive and when i feel like hearing the sound of the vq engine i open it up)

heres a few random pictures i took with my friends hanging out at 88 rotors

and a car wash pic =]

ill try to keep this as updated as possible, patiently waiting for my air struts to come in so I'm just trying to do stuff to my car that i always wanted but never found the time for. =]

oh and a small photoshoot with my friends new lamps! =]
