I CHOOSE too not have "real" wheels, why? Because I park parallel on a street and I dont want to risk curbing 3k wheels and for those who say "you probably dont know how too park" I would love too see your car on a street as narrow as where I park my car. 2) I'm not even keeping this car any longer....I'm lucky if I even keep it for another 3 months I'm in the market for a Lexus isf that I found a killer deal on. Im tired of the 2 seater thing even with another daily for those who don't know I also own a 2010 Mitsubishi lancer gts I want too sell that and just have one car because insurance is raping me. Another thing is my car is only worth about 10-12k stock here in California...why the hell would I put 3k-4k wheels on it? I think that's stupid....people with 98 civics and "real" wheels can talk all they want just because of there wheels....so if I had a Lexus isf with fake wheels I would get flamed also? That's what a lot of people dont pay attention too I'd rather drive my z than a super old car breaking down all the time with real wheels. 3) my car is not a show car,race car or drift car. Its a car too drive on the weekends and too school sometimes the only reason its bagged and matte white is because I LIKE IT THAT WAY.....of course I would love real wheels but honestly I think its extremely stupid too put expensive wheels on non expensive cars....its like putting diamonds on a watch from target....in my opinion I won't put expensive things on my car until I have a car that's worthy. Those are my 2 cents...and I hope I dont offend anyone by saying this...you guys are all awesome and I respect all of you equally...its just the wheel thing is getting really annoying...lol

As far as the rota xxr blah blah blah taking money from the real brands, do you think those "real brands" give a shit about you? You're making them rich that's all they care about...its the same as paying taxes....if you dont pay taxes it makes the government lose money...big deal what is the government doing for you now a days...same with wheels...what the hell are those brands doing for you to make me proud of spending 3k on there wheels ? Unless youre super rich than why not...but those saving and saving for those wheels....In my opinion you dont have your priorities straight

And AGAIN I don't mean too offend anyone...for those with real wheels kudos too you...I'm sure you worked hard for them and deserve them...but my point is the "wheel" thing in the stance scene is a little absurd...people take it too another level...I feel fitment is all that matters and if your car is fitted right by all means be proud! Everyone is stated too their own opinion that's why I dont get mad or disrespect anyone....I'm mature enough too take the constructive critiscm because having xxr's I kinda saw it coming....but hey out of 1000 people if I can please someone with the way my car is built...then that's ALL I need

Even the big brand companies "steal" designs from each other. You can buy wheels that look VERY much like BBS LMs from other big name companies so to me that sounds like a poor argument for off brand companies "stealing" money from the bigger ones. And the truth of it is, if it wasn't for the knock off wheels the people that cant afford or cant justify spending the large amount of money on real BBS wheels or whatever wouldn't just some how be able to afford them later on. They would do what people have been doing since aftermarket wheels came into existence...buy wheels they can afford. I used to have XXRs too, 20x10 006s on the 06 mustang I used to have. Had them for a few years, drag raced with them, raced back roads in NC with them, and took many trips to FL and back to NC when I lived there. Not a single problem. Sure they weren't as good as some volks or BBS wheels and I'm sure they were heavier, but they were still good wheels.

And of course they aren't as good as the more expensive wheel brands...that's why they are cheaper...Just like raceland coilovers are crap compared to HR or KW. Only a fool would think that something that costs half to a third of the cost of the more expensive brand could be the same quality. MY point is that not everyone is that worried about it. Its not like he is tracking his car, if he doesn't want to spend thousands on wheels right away but still wants something other than stock (or those ugly wheels his car came with) then who are you, me, or anyone else to say he is wrong for doing so? And from what I've seen in this thread I bet he ends up with some wheels later on that most of the people on here dream about getting. So whats wrong with running cheaper wheels until then? People on here, and in the "stance" scene in general are way to stuck up when it comes to wheel brands.

what I just said is what I was told about xxr by the upper members of this forum. When I say they steal money, I was told that replica designs are stealing money from the original company because they use THEIR designs to make money. Does it hurt the company? Idk. I don't know the whole situation. But it's like downloading music instead of buying it, it doesn't necessarily directly affect the artist, but as a whole, it does affect the artist and publishing company (please take that comparison lightly as I realize it's not exactly the same situation.)

I've spent enough on parts for my car in the last 3 months to buy some real BBS LM's but I just can justify spending over 2k (more like 4 for real LMs) on them. So I got knock-offs 10 months ago for less than a grand. Glad I did since I've decided to go down to 18s and ordered a new set of wheels.

Anyway, I went on a little rant but I like the Z with the white on white, but the blue will look good too. Build the car how you want, with what you want. You're the one paying the bills.
