I'd go with flares. I've pulled a few mk3 fenders and I can't imagine being able to pull them that much
Well you have to keep in mind that the fronts are not cambered at all right now if I camber them it sits about flush..but then axle bind.. But idk about pulling the tears that much because that quarter panel is thick!
Biting can't decide between bolt on fender flares like the e28 has or trying to pull the fenders..bit then I need body work and paint..I'd really like to do the fender flares but get them painted same color as the car and attempt a wide body GTI..idk too many ways to go about this and I can't decide. What you guys think
For some help making those wheels fit, use a mk2 rear beam. It's narrow by about a 1/2 inch. It's not much, but it could save your fenders some pain. Lol
Wow first post.
Yeah I've thought about using the mk2 rear beam. But as of right now I really just want the wheels on to see how they look with the drop plates and -2' camber in the rear I'm hoping I will only have to pull them just a little but it's never that easy
I was about to say, "keep the flares and get wider rims" but you already did that. A friend of mine just got rid of his @leskie on instagram. These cars can go pretty low.
