Yes but being green it is, that colour where i live was hard to come by, i wanted to remove the crappy rust creating arch trim. Underneath the rear trim was blue, the orginal colour... underneath the front trim was red...

No its not actually a gti, the grill was from a gti. Tho this has exact same engine as a gti.

I've had, and love all types of cars.

My mk4, s13 , plus a Volvo 240, a 740 and my current e28 and Audi, plus my Wife's current mk4.

I love VWs, it just seems like you're ruining yours, and that makes me sad. The green one was nice, now it's spray painted, the gas hole doesn't match the car. Sure it's different, but it's ugly. I don't even want to start on the rusted one, it's not even different. There are countless rust mk3s because these highschool kids get them and want to be Rusty slammington.

Like i said, the mk3 needed seeing too. The paint is done very well, All the rust causing trim is gone, Ill get better pic's. The front bumper is only temp, hense why it dont tie in.

The rusted one was done, because it was involved in a major accident. It caused a crowd everywhere it went. It was marmite, People who helped put it together was like wtf are you doing. Tho they all grew to love it.

How can you say he's ruining it? It's his car, he can do whatever he wants to it.

On the subject of the whole rust look, sure it isn't the prettiest thing to look at but it certainly gives the car some character. I have to admit though, ever since Mighty Car Mods released their Golf build, a lot of people have been rusting their VW's.

cheers, that rusty golf happend due to its history it had, not gunna go into details, but was involved in a accident which involved a death. Everyone who helped build that car was like wtf are you doing, then grew to like it...

This car how it is now gets lots of attention.
