Its been a while since i have been able to post updates, just finally got settled down in dallas and managed to get some new wheels on the car. I went with conservative offsets so I could tuck the rims and play with spacers to see what i really like for the next set of rims. Overall it has cleaned up the look of the car and no rubbing to deal with at the moment.

19x9.5 and 19x8.5 with some falkens. 10mm spacers up front, need at minimum 20 but one thing at a time.

Next items on the car are rolling rear fenders, false floor in the trunk with a twist and interior trim painted.
Mods: Dinan Upgrades (Intake, Throttle Body, Exhaust, ECU, sway bars, strut braces), e60 Short Shift, Airlift bags, Autopilot v2, Rieger M5 bumper.

Finally starting to get around to getting a few things done before summer rolls around, interior is being painted and cutting rear fenders to make the wheels sit flush!

It happens, cant keep every car!

So texas is starting to heat up with car shows and i have been too busy to get anything done on my car. Finally this past week i spent a couple nights getting some things sorted after some spacers came in.

Here is where i was at before cutting fenders and all that fun stuff...

Front with 10mm, really sunk in the fender..sorry about darkness on pic.

                Back with no spacers,

                Front with 25mm

Back with 25mm and cut fenders...I like where the rim sits but the tire is too fat...its ok thought cause the tire needs to be replaced so time for some more stretch.

Slapped on the 10mm for the time being, this will be what i use for every day and for meets and shows ill slap the 25mm, the 10mm doesnt cause any rubbing!

This is how she sits now, im really happy with it for the time being.

Mods: Dinan Upgrades (Intake, Throttle Body, Exhaust, ECU, sway bars, strut braces), e60 Short Shift, Airlift bags, Autopilot v2, Rieger M5 bumper.

Sits great, I suggest you notch the rear bumper for the exhaust to come up. I always found it weird how dinan did the exhaust for e39's.

I cut my bumper in my driveway with kitchen scissors.

I totally agree, I am undecided what i want to do with that....I like the mtech bumper but that means single pipe exhaust. I also want to make the rear bumper come down more to match the front, so still figuring it all out lol.

Its amazing what you can do with kitchen scissors hahaha....looks good though, love the wheels too, classic!

Did reiger make a matching rear bumper? You could run a '03 Mtech rear bumper with a gnarly rear diffuser to get it looking busier and closer to earth. I'm not a huge fan of running quads on a non M, but I think DTM fiberwerks makes a single exit diffuser.

And thanks for the compliments, I sure miss the thing. My next will be a M5 though (might even look at one on Friday)

I would love to have an m5, i kick myself because i happened to see one at a car show....carbon black, mint interior and exterior (one door ding), 30k miles, no mods...20k for it....should have bought it. I support your e39 craving haha.
