Since I was slacking yesterday thought I would snap some pics of the fathers project.

He has bags on it with the tank al mounted, no lines or management yet.
He has been doing some metal work lately so I'm not much help lol

Today's goal for the BMW is to get it all working and the interior back together, will have to adjust the bags height as they settle.

I had just convinsed myself that air won't be acheivable on my E39. You're now telling me otherwise. Really looking forward to seeing this done.

So here you all go, a pic of it aired out. Can go way lower on the coils but ill let it settle for right now and see how it goes. Ill get more pics tomorrow when it's light out but I'm very impressed so far with the system, the response time and the ride.

Btw e39 has some nice little features like stock holes for the airlines and more that really lent itself to air ride. I'll talk more later about it but its very much possible.

Nice install, seemed relatively headache free? Looks awesome!

Thanks. The worst part is taking out the current suspension. That's where I got frustrated. Every thing else just takes time but there are plenty of options to run the system however you want.

An update, I took it downtown tonight and put it to the test on some bumps...the dampening setting from airlift factory is a little too stiff but handles nice other wise and I'm very impressed with the responsiveness of the system.

Recharged and having a cup of coffee, hopefully today ill be able to get everything running at minimum.

This is exactly how I feel. Spend the extra and do it right.

The "your dog is fat" comment completely threw me off. Probably the strangest comment on a build thread I've seen. Dog looks good to me.

Awesome build! Let me know how you like the controller, that's the one I am going to pick up as well.

Don't know yet, was thinking three piece Rotiforms but I'm not rushing cause I got a bit of time. I like wheels with a lip or dish o them. If I can't decide I will pick up a set of the esm lm reps in 19s till I find what I want. I'm open to suggestions lol. Wheels there is too much choice.

very impressed with the controller and the system in general, very responsive and the setup process the first time was impressive. Literally put the car on the floor and then let the system fill and pressure check the tank and then after that you tell it to calibrate the sensors and bags, wait 5 mins, watch the bags fill and adjust then all good to go. the "rise on start" feature is super nice too!
