So made the Mdf mounting board, used two existing holes in the wheel well that had grommets in them to secure the Mdf...put bolts right through the grommets to make keep it semi water proof till I add the final touch of silicone.
The pup is also wondering why I'm keeping him up so late but little does he know I'm not done for the night.

Lol he is just a big dog and has his winter fur thing going on.
Done for the night and hopefully be back at it in a couple hours...got a ton more done.
First we did the wiring harness for the controller, compressor and manifold...lot of work but looks good. The wiring takes the shortest route out of the wheel well and around underneath the plastic to the battery. Compressor is not done but the wiring will go underneath the Mdf board.
Also ran one air like to the front. Cause of the cold conditions, rocks and shitty roads I ran the lines on the inside...I followed the wiring harness to the dash and put it through the firewall. You can see it go under the cabin filter and out to the bottom of the strut tower.
At the bottom of the strut tower was a hold already that leads into the drivers side wheel well. Drilled out the hole to fit the stainless braided line that goes to the bag...will show tomorrow..the stainless line is held in that hole with a hose fitting and the line put into it.
Taking longer then I expected but its going in nicely and just taking the time to do it. So far the total time into this is 21 hours. It will be interesting what it tops out at.Mods: Dinan Upgrades (Intake, Throttle Body, Exhaust, ECU, sway bars, strut braces), e60 Short Shift, Airlift bags, Autopilot v2, Rieger M5 bumper.

So today was slow moving and didn't get to where I had planned, I had planned to have it all up and running and then spend tomorrow putting the interior back in after testing. Didn't happen...
Two front strut towers have air to them and the engine bay all buttoned up. Ill take a pic tomorrow. The back strut towers have the bags in it and the stainless steel lines ran into the trunk which is this pic below so I just need to cut the lines and connect.
The back end suspension was absolutely brutal to get the current coils out....have to unbolt the whole control arms and the aftermarket sway bar I have has rusted bolts from the awesome salt. I got the rear bags in though which is a step forward lol instead of back. It was putting the bolts back in the control arms after I installed the bags that nearly made me loose my s***
I wish I had more to share with you all but it was a slow moving day.
On the upside though this was all very needed, I ended up having one broken spring on the back...Mods: Dinan Upgrades (Intake, Throttle Body, Exhaust, ECU, sway bars, strut braces), e60 Short Shift, Airlift bags, Autopilot v2, Rieger M5 bumper.

Oh and the back bags connectors in the trunk aren't to my liking, I need to order some 90 degree connectors to keep the air lines completely hidden.Mods: Dinan Upgrades (Intake, Throttle Body, Exhaust, ECU, sway bars, strut braces), e60 Short Shift, Airlift bags, Autopilot v2, Rieger M5 bumper.
