  • Another e30 coupé

So, as i mentioned in my Volvo's build thread, i bought myself an e30.

This buying thing happened quite fast to be honest, cause tho i wanted an e30, i weren't watching them or anything. One day just a friend of mine offered, that some guy he knows, is selling a coupe which has no interior or engine but the price was good for me. So next day i went to see this "car-of-my-dreams".. saw that the car existed so i bought it

The first thing i'm doing, is body. Weld everything that needs to be welded and finally repaint.

So that's how she looks now. I'm doing as much as i can, as good as i can. Hoping to drive it in summer but we'll see how it goes
Not sure about the paint tho.. so far i was thinking about something like calypso red, but the more i see the existing diamondblack metallic, i'm starting to like it too But we'll see about that.

So.. cleaned up garage a bit to get my bimmer in... somebody pushed it on the side

Hell with that.. started to rip it apart then

Something was in the fuel tank.. so i poured it out..

            Looks like orange juice

A random pic about rear axle.. thinking of e34 rear axle for strength and also easier to find lsd diffs

You had me up until I saw the car on it side. Are you using anything underneath it to prevent damage?

Ofcourse, some old tires on the other side. Holding the car from edge of the roof... like this:

I wouldn't think anyone could be that stupid to push the car on the side, without anything holding it

I really liked this thread, but now I can't wait to see more
I've seen people using this method when they have no lifts.

In my opinion, it's better than on a lift cause it's more comfortable to work when you don't have to look up all the time. Also better lighting and nothing falls into mouth

I work with lifts daily and i'm used to eat the mud and rust coming from up.. but on my own car i'm going to avoid it.. just because i can

                            So.. dealing with rust again

To lift the car.. should be strong enough
