    lol all good, i was getting frustrated and hitting up all the W115 people i knew to try and get help. I gave up and put the car back together and forgot to take a pic. But its the ball joint on the outer end of the front control arm that was giving me problems. Whats the proper way to do this? lol

    So i attempted to do the front springs today and ended up in an epic fail

    i unbolted the sway bar end link, unbolted the shock, and when i was unbolting the ball joint to drop the control arm the bolt didn't come all the way out because it stopped on something. The ball joint nut was almost completely off the bolt so the control arm should've at least gone down some but i took a sledge hammer to it and it didn't even move

    Am i doing it right? Or is there another easier way to do it

    90 THOUSAND MILES HUH? Alright. Real jealous.

    Spring cutting is easy:
    Grind 50-70% through the spring, then bounce on the car and it'll snap and you'll be safely standing on top of the car. Cut out the excess.

    Euro bumpers or even pre facelift bumpers require modification and custom fab work to fit. But i'll make something happen, eventually lol
