Stance noob GTO build

2 posts in a week... Yeah I guess I'm just excited for ImportAlliance... So here is the color scheme for my engine bay pretty much except I will have an actually functional cai :p



Being that I am using plastidip it may be hard to get the GTO right on them so that may stay silver like this



So either way it'll be a little dressed up.

this is pretty much what the awespeed looks like.



and got my fuel rail covers out and masked up

I got the intake on. I have a little bit of a rubbing issue with one of the clips that hold my hood liner up so the plastidip is getting pretty torn up... I also got the radiator shroud cut to clear everything but here is the only picture I have of the bay as of now



I think I will still do the strut bar to pretty it up a little more

And for anyone who thinks I'm scared to run the car here's a dig from the other night with my buddy's Impala SS...

Yep it makes for a fun daily. I still need to have it tuned then I will probably be done for a little while then it will be cam time.

thanks the pics buddy, I am glad I did also it looks 100x better on them. I may lower it once we get down there. I am very strongly debating lowering it. I know the road down there is pretty rough and I don't want to break another oil pan on the ride there or back

Oh then we're set! I think Troy (with the accord) and I may be lowering our cars once we get down there. I may try to ghetto rig my splitter back together tonight with some epoxy, zip ties, some cut up abs plastic cutting boards, and some plastidip... It'll be better than a Home Depot lip in my opinion

thanks. I try to keep it clean. I think I am going to do a really intensive cleaning tomorrow. clay bar, polish, wax, etc. Making it beautiful for IA. Tonight I am going to try to rebuild my splitter and debadge my trunk and probably dip my grills black to match the area around them

Hey, I'm a professional lurker from Louisville as well. I signed in to actually offer a suggestion for your car. I was wondering if you had considered putting one of the recessed grilles on your car?

Honestly I prefer the grills I have, I think the recessed ones make it look more like a Grand Am, which imo in never a good thing. Plus the real SAP grills are like $600 for real ones and the replicas don't fit, are sold by a sketchy company, and look like a 5 year old with modelling clay made them lol
