Made the decision today to strip the plastidip off of my wheels tomorrow. My car may be covered in snow when I wake up so I guess I may have to let it thaw in the garage.

I like it as well. With the new Chevy SS out I may do the Chevy Lumina SS conversion like the car was in the middle east just to throw some people off but show the connection that is there. Yes I understand one of the fronts is the Monaro front bumper with the chevy badgeOriginally posted by 1-low-poo-go View PostPersonally I prefer the Monaro front bumper. If you could source a Coupe4 kit that would be cool.

 One of these 2 fronts.

I love the coupe4 body but the kit from JHP is like 12k for it. I could have another GTO for 12k lol. So unless I keep this car and drop a ton of money into engine work etc I couldn't justify that kind of money being spent on unnecessary body work.Originally posted by MkI View Postgo Coupe4 (shown below).. the flares and all... you could get some awesome wheels/stance happening

After having the enkei's on I am partially thinking this as well.Originally posted by bagovan View PostI think the GTO is a great platform to build on, but I echo the sentiments of some of the others here: Bigger is better. I think 18's would fill up those wheels wells quite nicely.
 Keep at it!

After I got most of the plastidip off I went down to a park. I am no photographer and these were just taken with an iPhone but I think it looks a lot better.

Even when they were covered in curb rash, peeling clear coat, tarnished bolts, and big tires with the car sitting a lot higher they looked amazing. With the car on the ground they should look amazing. I also picked up a heat gun today so i can work on rolling the fenders...Originally posted by Evil Panda View PostDo it! Will look like a completely different car.
