Started taping off everything. Good prep good results. Took 30-40 mins to tape everything perfectly

Don't skip any section. I didn't want my door seals to have pain on them, so i taped that too.

First time laying a metallic paint. Alot to learn about tiger stripes, but I sort of got the hang of it.

Still need to let it fully cure, so i can wet sand and buff it out

You can see the metallic so well! I'm pretty happy with the paint mix

Those look killer paint matched! Can't remember if it is already but are you going to paint match the trunk lip? Now you just need your wheels back and those puddle lights installed.

Thanks man! Actually the trunk will be completely molded and repainted along with the car. So, that's a yes! The trunk will get started on once I get back for New Orleans this up coming weekend. Yeah, i can't wait to finish the car. All the additions will be nice and hopefully nothing out of place!

Awesome car man, Can't wait to see where you are headed with it. That color match came out great, I have never seen a metallic from a can match that well.

I'm really liking this color-matched look. I don't know if this was your plan, but the matching visors help cut down the visual height of the windows and make the car look a bit shorter. Nice touch.

It was! The car needed that sleeker look. The did well with the Koup, but IMO threw together the sedans. If you section the car into the FRONT/REAR and separate them you'll see where they just ADDED four doors. IDK it's hard to explain, but the overall car seemed incomplete. So, i wanted the visors cut down the Economy car feel and add some elegance

Bought the supplies to get this transformation underway when I return!
