Sounds pretty healthy! Never knew you could 'repaint' the plates without getting pulled over every 2 seconds. haha
Sucks about the master cylinder, but warranty should get you a new one. The weather just needs to clear up so I can see this thing rolling around town.

thanks guys. much appreciated. So i noticed the clutch pedal was slowly getting soft. I looked under the dash and noticed some wet fluid by the Clutch master cylinder boot. Yup, the fucking seal is going bad. It was a bitch to pull out. It currently is a Tick performance master cylinder which is $314+ for new one. I sent it to them because its under warranty. Hopefully i get it back soon with no issues.

Got my plates in the mail..

    Ah looks much better.

It's a great thing that you are doing it in memory of your friend. I only red the intro and flicked through pictures but I'll have a detailed read once I have a chance.

I've been really busy. Sorry for the lack of updates. Car is on the road. Here are some pictures after i spent some time buttoning up things.

Installed the Ron Davis Aluminum radiator. My 4.5 inch intake clamps came in, although they are shit quality. So i'm going to order a different set.

Didn't have a radiator overflow tank at all. So i Measured the area and found this perfect stainless tank. Bought some Gates hose to run from the radiator to the tank.

Oh and here is dyno video. This was only on the second pull. Car still needs to be finished broken in. It made 475hp 441tq.

I'm definitely not done with the build. I have things i need/want to still do and finish. STAY TUNED! Thanks to those who have followed and are continuing to support the build!

More updates! Thanks for the comments guys. I'm pretty fucking excited about it. It's been great learning experience. I went straight from Honda's to V8 muscle.

Flywheel bolted on with ARP bolts and torqued down.

Clutch Disk on with clutch alignment tool.

Pressure plate bolted on with ARP bolts and torqued. Fucker was heavy compared to Honda one.

    Transmission on and torqued down.

With the help of some friends. Its finally in.

I've got a lot of respect for the build and the attention to detail. The bottom end sounds pretty tough. I'll be following the build.

Thanks for the comments guys. I'm pretty happy with how the pictures are coming out especially since they were taken with my shitty old cellphone haha.

Must have accidentally deleted/lost the before picture. The timing chain cover was greasy and really nasty. I wire wheeled the cover and put some fresh paint on it. Bought new oem GM crank seal and put the sensor back on.

Installed on the block with Black bolts.

Cleaned up the water neck to the water pump as well. Then installed the Meziere electric water pump back on.

    Engine mounts bolted up.

Oh and to keep it stance related. I through one front wheel back on.

Thanks everyone for the comments. I'm trying to keep up and i do read all comments! As for the rear links my buddy's dad got the material for me from his work. I'll see if i can find out where they actually get it from...

Question: Are you going to polish these to have a good flow? Looks like the ridges would cause air disturbance.

    Like this ?
The machine shop, BES(Bischoff Racing engines) is very well known. It has proven to make between 20-30+hp with having the heads cnc'd how they're. So I don't plan to polish the ports.

Alright, i have been super busy last couple weeks. I've spent late nights putting hours, blood, sweat, into this car...

Diamond Pistons, Golden Eagle rods, ARP 2000 rod bolts, ARP mains.

    ARP Madnessss

Windage tray wouldn't fit over the new ARP mains. so i have to drill out the holes just a tad bit bigger.

Oil pan on, Rear main cover and new rear mean seal on. Waiting on misc. gaskets.
