                    • Another weekend and more progress!

I'll be the first to admit because of the stage I'm at and how the cars parked in the garage most of the pictures do look the same! but I'll assure you sizzle has gone down!

This weekend was to finish revising how the rear of the front wings mount to the car and to try and get it sat on its wheels with the steering rack in (after I've narrowed it) and a couple degrees more camber (after having the top mounts modified)

So first of all was to remove the track rod ends (shit loads of heat and and angle grinder later).... we have the exposed threaded ends which I lopped 15mm of each end!

No pictures of the camber plates  but basically I elongated the center part of the top mount to allow me to dial in more camber - a local engineers to care of that for me, got those fitted - now running roughly 3 degrees at ride height

Dropped it down onto its wheels using old copies of PBMW as toe slip plates LOL

Set to toe roughly by eye (for now) and let the car fully settle.

So, to recap, wings wings mounted, camber set, toe there or there abouts and car on full drop with it still being able to move (tyres not wedged up in the arches) - so I can actually drive at this height! :-D

                      • It'll roll but surely not steer?!?

You going to need to tub your front inner arches?

Is this for track or street car?

Its got a little steering, not a great deal though, I thought about tubbing the front arches but there'd be no great advantage to, yea I could get the front lower but I'd have to do some serious redesign of the rear suspension to get that any lower.

Its just a street car :-)
