More progress, over the last week

After dropping the engine and still waiting on the dry sump I thought I start on the engine bay smoothing!

I'd already cut off a few brackets and bits some time ago but its now time to crack on

This picture was taken a loooooooong time ago but it show the bay in its also complete form



No in depth progress shots because I just like to crack on and work these days LOL

So, the starting point

Cut, weld & grind..... still holes to be filled!



In the process of removing the seam sealer....

A little's been happening over the last few months, mostly work in the garden though.... extended my garage! YAYYYYY!! but part of the deal with the girlfriend was I laid a new patio (with water feature) and footpath, slapped up a new fence and got everything look neat & tidy BOOOOOOO!!

All the updates have been on my facebook page for the car for a while so I'll copy 'em over but to keep up todate with everything like my fb page in my sig :-)

Started fabbing up the new arch lips......



Lots of work and no pictures I had both arches fabbed and the front bumper mounted :-D



To start smoothing the bay and re-constructing the inner arches I dropped the engine out



Today I've just dropped the centre lock hubs off to be hard anodised so when they are finished (hopefully next week) I press in the bearings and get them bolted together and back on the car :-D

In the background, I'm still waiting on my dry sump.... I've found a company to supply the dry sump pump and am trying to work a deal out at the moment....

Shizzle is happening just abit slow currently.... I've got my old astra coupe turbo to break in the next couple weeks so that'll take me off the BM again BUT will give me money in the sky rocket to spend on the BM! :-D
