  • NORCAL: Regggggggg's NEW Datsun 240Z Build

Many of you have probably seen pictures of this car on tumblr, instagram, or on facebook. or maybe you have never seen this car at all. For those who have seen it, you know just how much work has been put into building it.

But on December 6, 2012, this car was stolen from me a block away from my job at Limitless Motorsports. I spent almost a whole entire year building the car from the ground up with the help of close friends and family after buying it completely stock back in July of 2011. And just as I finally got it running and ready for the road, it was taken from me. My blood, sweat, and tears were put into building this and I never even got the chance to enjoy my creation.

A month has passed and still no word or sightings of my car have come up so I felt that it was time to start anew. So on January 1st, 2013, I purchased another 240Z

My plans for this car are already underway with suspension already ordered from TechnoToyTuning, fuel components ordered from Summit Racing, and a temporary L28E powerplant being put together while piecing an RB25DET swap for the near future. But of course, most of the effort will be put towards the security side this time to be sure that I'll be able to enjoy my build this time.

So please stay tuned and watch as I build an even better Z in memory of my last one.

So I stopped by my work to pay off some of my suspension bill and to check out what goodies came in the mail...

    hahaha, "Techno Toy Tuning Shit"

Anyway, two packages came in today. One was from Summit Racing and the other from Techno Toy Tuning.

First up, just some of the stuff for my fuel cell setup. AN fittings/adapters, SS braided lines, fuel filter, and an Aeromotive FPR w/ a guage.

Next up, front lower control arms and four corner ground control from Techno Toy Tuning

Now I'm just waiting up for my struts, rear lower control arms from T3, and the rest of my fuel cell stuff.

And thank you to everyone else for the kind words. I'm definitely excited to see how this build goes. It'll for sure be bigger and badder than the last!
