Hey guys nothing really has happened to the car other than the wheels being taken off to get polished before i sold them.
The plan was to sell the wheels and the car separate, but the 2nd day the wheels were off the car, a guy came out to look at the car and bought it

but as you guys might remember a few months ago how i had that wiring short, i needed to get all the little things fixed before i sell him the car. so i took it to a shop and they told me i have to replace the whole wiring harness behind the dash cause mine was completely melted into one mess.
so until the new harness comes in this is what my car looks like in the shop

as for my next car.....im 75% gonna stay in the lexus family or 25% gonna use the money as a down payment for an Evo 9.... i dont know yet

Ya, the coils now are shit so once I get money to get some bc racing extreme lows or d2 coils it's just gonna sit like thisOriginally posted by FunfGang View PostIt looked good before, but now that the front is down it just looks absolutely on point, love it!
Also I **** to ask a question that's probably been asked 30 times or more, but it's 3am and I'm lazy, any plans to bring the rear down a tad?
Ya that's what I thought too, but I didn't have a couple days to wait, I needed it fixed the next day, they first told me to not even get it off the truck because they couldn't lift it. So I pretty much begged them to do it for meOriginally posted by rice4life View PostOrder an oil pan and a new oil pan gasket off of ebay for $60 so you won't have to pay out the ass again.
What did the techs think of the car?
Ground clearance from oil pan is about less than an inch, I scrape it on the daily lol, and I could raise it but it's an expensive job on my carOriginally posted by mad-ass View Postwhat's the ground clearance for your oil pan? can you make skit plate for it? can you raise your motor up a bit more by the motor mounts?
Thanks so much man, really means a lot!Originally posted by Smeeeb View PostYou are my favourite, front fitment is perfect once rears are just as good it'll be murderrrr
Just watch where you drive, I didn't have any react time and that's what killed meOriginally posted by Tosh_Daniel View PostLooking good! Been following ya in IG, shame to hear about the pan. Makes me worry about mine lol
Ha thanks bro!Originally posted by aLaFleur View PostWelcome to the club!
The car is looking quite lovely though. Just be nice to your pans.

So as some of you guys may have seen on instagram, Stank LS claimed its first oil pan victim the other day...
I was coming home from Pole Position around 1030 at night, going about 70-75 mph, if i was going slower i would of missed it. But it hit and it sounded like a bomb went off, i immediately pulled over, turned off my car and called my friends.
Friends came, and helped me push my car to a better spot to get towed, was not fun.

The culprit:

The towing company knew their lowered car shit lol

Got dropped off at the specialist..

Annnddd, 4+ hours and $600 later my car is back on the road

Yes i know it sounds expensive for a oil pan fix, but the part alone is $250 brand new, new oil drain plug, new filter, new oil, and then labor. Great work and amazing customer service, love this shop, they are Eastman Toyota and Lexus in Murrieta,CA. highly recommend them!
And thats my story
But now the car needs new spark plugs, cleaned throttle body, flushed out tranny, and little things to help it run better.
