also i might be back in the LS4 game...... SC got totalled and friends talked me into buying a 98 so im saving my pennies to add on to the insurance money.

also, don't expect the megans to last too long comfortably with a sagged spring, my friend davids LS4 on profounds rears blew, he sagged em almost tucking 19's.
ya i heard, sorry about that man. yes please go LS <3 and ya im thinking of PBMs too

the quality is really good, i really suggest going to them for oem sized rotors that are drilled/slotted

                  • In exact same boat as you, sold my STI and picked up a silver with dk blue interior 97 LS400 back in August. The day I picked it up http://i.imgur.com/eIpcBK0.jpg.

Looks like we're gonna have very similar builds the wheels I picked up are 18x10 +12 and 18x11.5 +18 and like you my car is ridiculously bone stock, but hey they're what I wanted and I had to get them before someone else snatched them up.

Why didn't you just vinyl out the amber on the taillights instead of buying all new ones? I got some vinyl for $6 and voila.

Also what size tires you think you're gonna be runnin? Mine are coming with 225/35 up front but the rears are bare and I'm not sure what to run, guess I'll have to wait for them to come and mock them up.

                      • I think I'm torn between running a 35 or a 40 series tire, potholes around here are no joke...

I'll keep my eye on your build for progress its gonna look pretty sweet when you're done. Maybe you can fit your wheels first and let me know what you had to do to get them to fit

Hopefully I'll get some custom coils this winter (take advantage of some Christmas discounts), relocate the wiring harness, and buy rear tires by the beginning of the spring and get it sittin right

                              So on an update!

Not alot has happend but just the important stuff...

My plates came in as some of you have seen on my sig...

                              Got my tires

                              225/35/18 for the 10.5
                              255/35/18 for the 11.5

Went to a local store and they couldnt mount because "tires were too small"...lazy assholes. So i drove 2 hours to LA and went to 714 Tires to do some professional shit!
                              The infamous "no parking" wall

Then got them mounted with absolutely NO problems, i highly reccomend them for any tire/alignment needs!

                              255/35/18 front shot:

                              Above shot:

Angled shot...yes theres about a few mm of barrel showing on each side of ALL the wheels

Did a test fit last night, sadly no photos. But i have come to the conclusion that i am in way over my head, but fuck it yolo im gonna make them fit!

and then i came across this photo today, super clean undercarriage
