Painter finally gave me the go ahead to get it painted, really soon. Might give him the bumpers and skirts this weekend.

The car looks pretty good in the pics, but there's a bunch of spots I'm not happy with - arches,doors,bonnet and tailgate being the most obvious. I'm fairly certain it's been painted before...badly at that.

So here's some pics of the scabby bits that will be getting repaired. My arches will be getting rolled there too



Quite hard to see this one, but there's loads of tiny little sandpaper scratches. No good.




Got a replacement wing.




Bunch of stone chips and dents on the bonnet






Arch is getting a bit rough, otherside is not as bad though.

Love driving it, Chris. Put nearly 1,000 miles on it in just over a month

I'll get those off you soon. Just need to make sure I have enough clearance with the wheels and tyres when it's at paint, then I'll be bringing the wheels down to get powdercoated. I'll get them off you then

Hows your car? Manage to get the bearings sorted?

No rush, there in my garage covered up, so they should be fine when you want them.

The driver side rear bearing is a bit noisy but ive taken the spacers off to ease the pressure on it as much as possible. It definitely makes less noise now with the spacers off so ive just been running it like that with the 8J style 32 back on the front. Recently ive been looking at 328s so it might be for sale soon.

Not the update you've all been waiting for, but I have the car booked in for paint next Wednesday (About time, I know). I'm about to order coilovers too.

Should have a big update during next week, might even be a little movie or something
