Rewind a few months to where I had my friend Josh come over and detail the car for Cleanfest. He done a great job, paint is so clear! Definitely recommend Josh if…
Made little progress with the car over the last couple of weeks, it's been sat in the drive with half the interior in bits.
The reason for that being is to fit the hooks in the headliner for the rear blind. I finally got that finished yesterday.
Nice little oem touch. Most people probably wont notice it, but it's there now haha. Also took the time to remove my rear speakers to see what I can fit in their place, the current ones suck!
However, I'm guessing progress is going to be a little slow until I can find a new job.
I had the daily put through it's MoT on Tuesday and it failed on two track rod ends and a sidelight bulb. Awesome. So I got that sorted today.
Enough red cars?
I was super surprised at how clean the car was underneath. No rust, new dampers, brake lines and the pads and discs still have plenty life left.
Put the original wheels from the silver car on, they've got winter tyres on them, so I should be fine, should we get any snow.
Then put the steel wheels on the silver one to give my Mum back her winter wheels.
I think I might supercharge the silver Touring after having a talk with my Dad. Won't be this year, I'll collect parts and then maybe do it next winter.

From what I know on a guy on a german E36 message board who's big into M50/M52 super- and turbocharging, on stock internals you're apparently able to run about 0.7 bars of boost with a supercharger and that should net you around 330 hp on a 328.... seeing how your's is a 323, 300 seems do-able.
But I don't know anything about engines, so this is just something I read once
Welcome to dual e36 touring ownership you should have got a blue daily touring so we could be double touring buddies haha

If you don't buy Rotas, that'll be the end of it. I will not look for you, I will not pursue you. But if you do, I will look for you, I will find you, and I will kill you.

Definitely need to get me in contact with that dude!
I'll start with the good. I've got a job! Almost a dream job. I'll be starting a position as a Media Specialist ie, take photos/videos etc etc. A massive part of the job is also instructing people how to drift and drive cars properly. Pretty sweet cars too. I start in a few weeks!
(That's just two of them)
The bad news is that it's just north of London, so about 8 hours away from where I currently live. So that means the Touring will be getting put into storage until I'm properly settled and know exactly what I'm doing. Really bummed that I won't be able to work on the car, but the job sounds like a really great opportunity that I can't pass up. But on the upside, it means more money for car parts
