The drivers side has WAY more room than the passenger side, it may be a bit tough getting in and out but lowered seat rails will take care of that for you! I'd at least go down and have a try especially since they are coming down in price.

Shouldn't the ap2 just be your everything, considering its getting the most love?
LONG story, was about to buy an engagement ring, relationship fell apart and the AP1 came up for sale. I was honestly planning on stancing the car out, had PERFECTLY sized BBS RS with the chrome faces and a set of bc N+ that could lay the pinch rails on pavement. However once the snow melted (New england winters suck) I hammered on the car a few times and couldn't bring myself to turn a pure drivers car into something low and slow

Now I'm lightly modifying the car for track use, intake, high flow cat, exhaust, lowering springs and some 17x9 RPF1 with aggressive street tires. The end goal is to really have something I can learn in and progress, I'm not above admitting I am no where near a professional driver and I think that will help me this year especially since I am lining track days up at lime rock and NHMS with autoX sprinkled in!

Also if you drive an AP1 and an AP2 back to back they are completely different cars! The AP1 feels like a indy car next to the AP2 that is more refined and closer to what you would expect out of a high strung sports car!

How big are you! My friends 6'2 and drives the ap1 comfortably the ap2 has an extra inch on the sides too so more space and you can gain Aprox 3" from lowered rail mods

Agreed on Js there simply is no touching them for the s2k just wish it was less expensive... I should own a 3rd s2k by now

I love the way the J's racing sounds. I really love S2ks, if only I could fit in one

You and me both, the car is simply reckless it's rapidly approaching the 250WHP NA mark that I was looking for however unfortunately a TON of baller rare items keep coming up for sale and holding me back.

If you haven't heard or seen the J's racing s2k in action here's a sound clip of the exact setup I'm using now (J's intake, J's SPL header and J's titanium 70rr)

I can't even put in words how much of a difference dropping the OEM exhaust for the <9lbs titanium single made (header back) and dropping the 60ish lbs header for the <20lbs header.

Also because I love rare rare show pieces I found a mastergrade puzzle kit that should be in any day: (not my car)

On top of that I was able to find an OEM hardtop shell for fairly cheap with a few dings and scratches + no ahrdware. Considering these go new for approximately 4 grand I considered it a score. Probably going to leave it berlina black and have it resprayed as this was a color combo on the CR editions (rio yellow car + berlina black hardtop).

So for now I'm still shopping around for highest priority to lowest:
    -Front splitter
    -J's racing cooling plate
-Titanium engine bay bolts + radiator stays
    -Rear diffuser
-Big brake kit fronts w/ slotted rotors, pads and stainless line rear
    -Cage/rollbar
    -Seats

A little image of where we are headed.

OEM BB hardtop SHELL has been purchased and am waiting for that to come in and am currently piecing together overfenders and wide front fenders to shove some 295/35/r18s out back with 275/35/r18 up front

    Change of plans...

An absolutely gorgeous js racing intake came up for sale and I couldn't turn my head... AP2 looks to be NA, pricing out a stroker kit now

I've changed gears a lot on the S2Ks and am focusing on the AP1 since it is the "cheap" build.

I sold the BBS RS recently as after a morning beat run I simply could not put stretched tires and make the cars amazing handling properties go away :/ Sorry guys coming from a car that laid frame I'm shocked in myself but hey I'd rather be able to drive hard than look hard!

    Parts ordered/next 2 weeks planned:

    AP1
-Powder coating OEM wheels gloss white
    -Swift spec R springs
    -OEM replica front lip
    -Berk High flow cat
-Greddy ti-c exhaust (coming off AP2)
-T1R 3mm spacers (to allow a spare set of AP1 rear wheels that I have to be ran in front)

    AP2
-Greddy emanage ultimate + tune (vtec engage at 4100 RPMs)
-Js racing 70rr exhaust... this is a header back full titanium exhaust weighting in at under 10 lbs

    Still need:

    AP1
    -OEM Strakes
    -OEM deck lid spoiler
    -Berk header
    -Intake off AP2 (K&N FIPK)
    -Greddy emanage + tune
-25mm spacers to make OEM wheels sit flush in rear

    Future:

    AP2
    -Js header
    -Asura intake manifold
    -Spoon throttle body
    -Vortech supercharger
    -ASM over fenders
    -Downforce front fenders
    -APR front splitter
    -Downforce side splitters
    -Voltex type 3 wing

I'll have pictures up as I get parts in and get to work the goal is to have a VERY fun reliable daily that I can take up to autocross and still get the stock like feel of an s2k while having an absolutely reckless AP2.

Ohh hey here are 2 more shots from a recent shoot!
