Looking rad. Paint matched side skirts would set this off.

I always love seeing your updates and how you keep the body completely stock. I find Civics look best this way. Kudos!

The 2 test tires arrived. I think 185/35 would look better than 195/40. But
maybe if I'll lower the front a bit, and buy the facelift-front it will look ok.
This is how it looks now (i know it's high as hell...) :

A black hood will be hotter in the summer than a valve cover, so you don't
need to worry about the paint. I am using always normal 2K-paint and never
    had problems with the temperatures

I love the painting that you're doing. On the valve cover, do you need to use high temp paint or will normal paint stick well enough with the heat coming up through the engine?

Don't know if retarded, or alright .....
Tomorrow 195/40 R17 will arrive. Then I'll take a look.

Why do you wonder ? I have a spraying gun. First I sanded the LCAs and the subframe
with 400 grid, then I put epoxy primer on it, after that I put acrylic filler on.... then I sanded
the acrylic filler wet with 800 grid and put the basecoat on. After the base coat was dry,
clear coat... and waited 5 days and polished everything.

No updates for now, because I'm working on the engine bay. I'm putting new
"Lost Motion Assemblies" in the engine + new valve stem seals and so on. So the
car isn't driven for the moment.

Then my Intercooler arrived with piping from Poland :

And if purple won't be the new color.... it will be this :

I'm waiting for the other parts to grind the valves and for the supertech stem seals.
So I can't work on it now :/

And I helped for months to tuck the engine bay of a friend (this is not my bay) :

The car of my friend is now in Poland for bodywork and paint. Will be painted completely
like the valve cover. Engine bay is staying gray.

    Regards.

I'm going now on ET-2. The rear fitment is perfect, but I need to fit the front
now. Needs moar camber and moar low....

It doesn't look good now, because I have no camber in the front. At friday I will get
the facelift front end (brand new). And maybe I'll go to Poland in 2 months to paint
    my car then.

    Regards

Hmm, I was always under the impression that the b series swaps made the cars a lot more fun to drive and way torque-ier. Of course I only have a d16y7 so almost any swap is an improvement over it.
