cool, can't wait to see it completed. Makes me excited to start my bag build on my '02. What are you running for front and rear bags and management?

Bags are Universal air Aero sports on the front. 02-strut is cutted from about a middle. I am using cutted E36 low-budget coilover strut pipe on the 02-strut. This is fitted to the proper length. After this, that fits directly onto the 02-strut pipe with a minimun clearance. --> minor welding.

Rear end has Slam specialities SS-5:s in place of original coil springs. Fitting parts are own fabrication.


Actually, before I bought the air kit, I was looking for pictures of the low 02:s on the internet. Then I found rear tire fitting picture of your car. That made it much easier for the decision at what height I want to ride--> Bags. Thank you for inspiration.

Engine is M10B20 with E21 2.0 head, Mahle flat tops, megasquirt management with direct ignition, Master Power T03/T04. Fully rebuilded. Thats all, nothing exotic. Still needs some camshaft for perfect combo. Gearbox is from E28 535.

Power target is somewhere between 250- 300hp. That will be enough for this small piece of painted steel, for cruising.

Where I can see more about E36?

E36 belongs to my wife and that`s our summer daily driver. There is a thread, but a lot of time has passed since I last wrote something there. However, much has been made after that moment. Thread needs update. maybe later...
