    1978 Bus VR AKA BUSTDBVR

    Ok I am gonna get everyone caught up w/ an insane amount of pix right now. I bought the bus wanted to make it faster. I do VR swaps like crazy so figured wth! BVR= BeaVeR or Bus VR. The bus is brown and a beaver is fitting!!! Its busted so... BUSTDBVR is my europlate and this is my build! Crack a beer and enjoy the pix! WARNING PIC HEAVY!!!!!! Didnt get into all the odds and ends just took all the pix of the build.

    Butt, Butt, Butt smh They will be coming off and be soldered back up!

    This is what I am left w/ after sifting and weeding out the cancer in that harness! Ready for friction tape!

    Also had to grind down my shaft to due its monstrosity length.


    Then BAM!!!! Sitting in Ivans house when I get the call that the plate has been shipped and it will arrive in a few days. Checking the tracking as everyday passed. Finally it came to my job!!! And thats when I started to get the VR into the bus for the mock up!!!



    And VOILA!!!! 2 times a charm!












    Couldnt bring myself to do the welds!

    Wow. I didn't read a damn thing. I saw the VR and kept scrolling. I love how you guys have that magic cardboard that turns into metal. Wish I had that here!

    But in all seriousness I guess i should have actually read this so that I know what transmission that adapter plate is for and why the motor is longitudinal now.....

    ...... back up I scroll.... DERN IT!

      Very cool. I missed the adapter plate at first, then thought how'd he do that. LOL

        Lol that magic cardboard is the ish!!! Theres not really much to read. Im using kep plate adapter and the bus 091 trans to handle the VR,
