    1990 325i alpinweiss ii sedan turbo project

    Hey heres my ride
    1990 BMW 3-Series Sedan 325i

    update 9/1/13
    after a long bit of downtime the car has a running driving 1jzgte out of a 94-95 toyota chaser.

    Suspension
    KYB Gas adjust shocks with vogtland lowering springs

    Exterior
    unknown 15" wheels no one knows what they are :-/
    ZENDER HeckSpoiler rear lip

    Engine
    dump exhaust
    Fmic
    1jzgte twin turbo

    Future.......
    megasquirt
    15-16" wheels maybe a staggered setup
    maybe a good single turbo setup or steel wheels for the CT12A turbos
    coilovers
    full exhaust









    trying to find the problem i have shit disconnected





    missing some trim here and there but i also had it torn apart cleaning stuff too








    pulling a replacement m20 and a 5speed swap for my car from my friends doner


    Big update ive been working slowly on the car and it now runs
    Starting to clean it up I still can not find out the brand of the wheels all i know now is that they are 4 lug universal 15x6.5 +38 et that were originally silver


    The motor and 5 speed Just another M20B25


    Starting to strip out stuff getting the swap started


    I ran in to a snag and cleaned the headlights since the yellow high beams just wasnt my thing.


    My snag was the fact the car had 1 piece from the manifold all the way to the tip. So i fixed it with a portban.



    The bad motor gone.....


    This is just after the 1st drive.


    These are the options that came on the car when new


    Here is a video of the first startup It smoothed out after warming up.

        Thanks for the complements this car is going to be a toy and ment to be enjoyed i sold the subaru and had enough money to get this car running and pick up a 3rd car to daily drive.
        Here are some of my old projects.

        98 impreza RS picked it up as an automatic and swapped in a ej20k motor and 5speed from a 97 jdm sti with 4.444 gearing. Was a blast to drive but garbage as a daily driver.


        04 Neon Srt-4 .63ar 50trim turbo setup making 420whp at 24psi this car was lots a fun and i owned it from new only had 300 miles from the factory break-in when i got it. Really miss this car it was fun somewhat fast and i was able to get 30mpg out of it.

          Replaced my rear struts and rear springs tonight the front ones were on when i picked up the car.
          They were cut and too low evidently too short so the PO installed these to raise it back up.


          Its not as low in the rearend now but close you can see the difference from the cut springs and the new ones.

              Yea up near asheville. Picked this car up on the cheap and picked up my friends motor and 5 speed he ripped the oil pan off so i pulled the oil pan and pump off this car. Not sure what was wrong with the old motor i traded it to a friend for labor of helping with the swap and parts im gonna rob off him.

                  Nice. I'm in Charlotte so LMK if you're coming down. Do you come to streetwise/was the guy who took the oil pan the guy who blew his at the speedway?

                      No I didnt the white just seemed hard to clean. I have to pull the intake to replace the gaskets and rebuild the injectors ill paint them then. Thinking of flat black with the raised lines,bmw emblem and letters painted red.

                      I wasn't able to go to streetwise last time I have a pretty busy work schedule and i dont think that was him.

                          There is a very high possiblity a 1jz-gte 5 speed swap is going to be happening i will have pictures soon.
                          Also got the windows tinted 20% ill have pictures of that once the weather it clear.
