    Coked out Corolla Wagon TE72

This is the the build thread of my wagon from bone rotting stock to it's future plans of a Shakotan cruiser!

I also keep updates on my site:
    http://atklife.com/?p=600

First picked my 1981 Corolla Wagon in the winter of 2011. Kind of spontaneous purchase after seeing it for sale on Craigslist for 1000 dollars.

It wasn't without problems, frozen caliper, lose wheel bearings, mismatched steelies.

First actual mod was 14x10 and 14x8 zero offset diamond racing steellies along with some fender mirrors to get rid of the floppy stock door models.

Next modification was the MK1 Golf large chin spoiler which took some haggard drilling to make fit but was really no big deal.

Moving onto the next major problem was ride height. The current level was achieved through ebay AE86 slip on adjustable coilover sleeves which fit snug and took only a little grinding to fit E7 struts. The rear is 3inch lowering blocks and custom made u bolts. Not low enough but for now it's okay. I didn't want to keep the wheels the same color and lower it so I went to Lowe's and found a teal.

dragged the lip down the highway so i patched it with vinyl. The old front fitment here for i set it on the struts and stretched new front tires.

Also here is what my 1989 240sx looked like early this summer.

And then just a couple months later.

Then it was broken down for awhile with a bad starter, battery, and no header or any other exhaust components. Eventually I got the starter refurbished, a new header and made my own exhaust in time for winter!

Attempting an uphill climb which eventually ended in having to reverse back down.

So this is currently how the car sits! Major plans for this coming year so keep an eye on my website and this thread!

    Thanks!
