Always love to see 1series I'm driving an E81 (3dr hatch) btw.
I like the style264 wheels, they'd look awesome painted in gloss black on your ride.

Hey man, I've been following your thread for a while. I picked up a 135i in April and have been getting ideas for what I want to do with it. Can't wait to see the broadway statics on, let us know your feelings on ride/height/adjustments (I'm planning on doing coils next and want to make the right choice).

Btw, love your interior. I wanted coral red or the terracotta, but couldn't find any in my price range.

Updates! Coming from and e90 and having KW v2's I totally understand all the hassels of KW/ST coils. The installation and the spinning spring perch in the rear....

    Awesome car, man. Really nice.

These are starting to grow on me a lot, I drove a 135i M Sport the other day and my God it was quick! Must be a blast to drive everyday.

Hey guys long time no update!

Well good news is that there really isn't much of an update. The widebody kit I was going to go with is no longer an option because the company who makes them had their FRP mold stolen, and I don't want to dish out the money to pay for a carbon-fibre one. So instead I will be ordering new suspension from Broadway Static within these next few days, this should easily fix my rake problem. And then I will get my fender fixed.

So here's a picture from today; enjoy!

Thanks! I actually think they look a lot like a smooshed E46, I have no clue why I do though. Yeah it sucks, but it's a good excuse to do something a little different. Only problem is I'll be running different wheels front and back for a while because my stock wheels just wouldn't fit in the new fenders

Thanks again man, my original goal was to have it done by summer but that's not happening. So I've pushed it back to spring. Good thing I like my stock wheels lol

<3 It took me so long to find this combo.

mike-81-240d stopped by today, didn't get any work done but we did get a shitty iPhone picture together! As you can probably tell my front has been raised a little to prevent my PS fender from popping my tire. When it got hit by a door it creased and it creased in onto the tire. After lots of hammer work and sanding it's drive-able again, but I raised it up 7 threads just to be safe. Talking to a dealer about the widebody kit now, and I've also figured out what wheels I'll end up going with. I'll give you a hint; they're not any of these new wheels coming out, and they're 3-piece

His build thread can be found here.

I love them too, and I got them for a steal from a local guy. Only complaint I have is on the E82 chasis the rear coilovers have some major design flaws The rears don't really go down a lot without removing the perches, and when you're adjusting them to top spins as well so they don't spin down. Well not unless you have clamps lying around like I happened to.

Thanks! Just find every preset in LR4 for B&W and scroll through them all and find which one suits the picture best. Then go through and make needed adjustments and viola! Only other tip I have is shoot in RAW if you're using a DSLR, it'll make the editing process 10x easier because you have more to edit and alter.

Hey Erik! Needless to day my father and I are ecstatic about picking this up soon. Saw the seats and stereo you went with, I can't wait to see it in person. I'll be up at the beginning of April to visit my parents, I'll try and swing by with him and say hi. Thanks for all the help from Pfaff, I know we couldn't thank you enough. And sorry to steal your baby from you when it's finally finished, but it's going to a good home I promise.

And thanks for the link to the feature, I'll send it on to my Dad.
