building a pretty tight fitting intake for it right now to fit under the beginnings of my gastank for it...and then comes swapping in the monoshocked ZRX rear swingarm, and figuring out what the heck I'm doing for the front forks since the steering stem cant be pressed out and the steering stem of modern era bikes are WAY shorter.... lol but USDs will happen...or possibly the really thick stock 900rr forks with goldvalves put in them....

      Sooooooooooooooo......

This just came up as an option for the dodge.... friend of mine is interested in trading me them for one of my project bikes....

22" rims.... NEVER thought or planned on putting such rims on the dodge, I always thought it would be more rat-roddish... but the more I look at them, the more I start to like the idea of it. NO IDEA though how the fitment would for the front end and how realistic it would be to get them to fit properly....

Any input on them going on the dodge?

Please stop looking at them. I'm sorry dude but personally those wheels should not go on anything, I like the steelies you have on there now you just need more lows and smaller tires... Not bigger wheels. Sorry if I sound like an ass I just think that big of a wheel would look bad on your truck

As much as I **** to do this, I agree. Those wheels are absolutely fucking disgusting and should only be used as boat anchors.
          Sup. Call me Z.

Not at all sounding like an ass. They just came up as an option for cheap and I thought hmmmm might totally change the look of the truck if I painted them all black and had them tucked nicely....

Yeah cant say I'm exactly a FAN of them....first off they would need to be painted all black.
And then I dont really like the design of them, but the idea of a putting big wheels under it is a bit interesting as I never put any thought towards that.
I still would like to see them under the truck though..... I've had a few wheel options look awful from the thought of them, but then turning out absolutely awesome.
            ---------------------------------------------------------------------------

This is what makes me go "hmmmmm...." maybe would be nice to see how it would look not THAT low, just nicely done static.

Well tearing into it..... Was pretty sure I had a bad valve on cylinder #1 as it would run PERFECT when the plug wire was off plug1.

Annnnd here is the result.... :/

About 5mins after opening the hood its all ready to get unbolted.

Ripped off the covers.... VERY actually impressively clean, looks like it has a pretty new rebuild.
Side note----It is sooooo awesome to be able to stand in the engine bay and work on it....working on my 3series BMW SUCKS compared to this.

Welllllllllll WTF?!? That is not cylinder #1..... headgasket look perfect also, I'm guessing head needs decked. argh!!

              Hmmmph.

So I found a replacement motor for my dodge.... Gonna rip out my current motor and throw it on my engine stand to be BUILT up, and in the mean time gonna be picking this up and throwing it in.

Also a little update on my ZX900rr bike I was building....

Little bit of this and that to make it fit, and "stanced" it on a 2x4 and jacks to give it a ride height look.

ugh sexy.....might do some polishing idk..... I have a love and **** relationship with shiny....
BTW, super freaking awesome... zx6e rear wheel bearings have the same id as the zrx rear axle that
I have, soooo the rear wheel I already have already fits! Just have to make some spacers!

Pretty sure I'm gonna get a shock mount boxed in to fit a shock at about the angle of the tape pictured there.

I like the cool little bike your building to, but have you thought about putting a 4bt in your truck instead of sticking with a petrol engine? It's a dodge with a big engine bay so you will have a plenty of room for it and since it's a dodge a cummins won't seem out of the ordinary. Plus the badass factor of pulling up in a dropped ride rolling coal, what's cooler than that?

oh heck yes I would definitely love to have coal burner in here...just at the moment its not exactly feasible money wise. And the 318s are so plentiful and cheap. I mean I'm picking up a ready to run COMPLETE motor for 250bucks. Much more is to come to this build, just I have so many other builds going on this one sadly isn't exactly getting the cash flow I would like it to.

Going to enjoy watching this one. I had a '92 Cummins 4x4 for a couple of years that I sold to fund my Mercedes project, and, aside from the perpetual electrical issues, I adored that truck. This generation of Dodge just had awesome chunky lines, and I'm looking forward to seeing this one laid out!

EDIT: Please don't keep it flat black, though - I'm so bored with flat black on everything. This thing is just dying for something gorgeous like candy apple red.

haha I'm not sure that I will keep it flat black... but it also won't be getting any kind of candy paintjob.... this is actually being built to be a work truck/fun truck, so it will be getting used and abused quite a bit.

I also noticed you've got the facelifted front end on. Did you do the conversion yourself, or did you buy it that way?

If you plan on keeping all the chrome up front, the LE taillights are a nice touch - they've got a chrome surround rather than the black plastic of the base model.

Yeah front end was already facelifted when I bought it.I'll look into the taillights thanks!

Well I keep getting shafted on motor stuff for the dodge....

So here is another update on the bike build since a few of you seemed to like it.

                                Shit fell apart on me....

Oh but then hey wtf happened here? Is that a spiegler top triple with dirty bars and SS brake lines on a 900rr front end?! I think so!

                                hmmmm....sooo what's the end result?
                                oh...oh I see the end result...ITS AWESOME!!
