Well this has been a adventurous journey. So I picked up a new block and head that are good compression. So threw a new headgasket and bolts in it. Then went to pull my engine to transfer all my good parts over to the new block and realized the whole engine and tranny are pushed like 3" forward. I guess when I threw my blocks on the carrier bearing took a s**t on me and it let the yoke slip out of the transmission so when I threw it back together it pushed everything forward blowing my tranny mount out in the process. WOOOOOOO. But hoping to have some progress by the end of the day!!

Damn man, not having the best luck getting this back on the road. Best of luck with getting it running!

Alright Alright this is what happened!
After fighting with the bolts I finally got that tranny mount out.

Totally the opposite of what it should look like

So got the driveshaft back in and the new mount. Then swapped all my parts over to the new block. Got everything torqued and mounted!!! Of course had to give it a coat of gold!!!
Then threw that puppy into sed truck.

Have to throw the other two tranny bolts in then throw exhaust, radiator, oil pump and dizzy back in. Then have to get some new tranny fluid since half of its on the driveway. Then some new oil and coolant, Then we should, fingers crossed, have a running truck. Ill keep you all posted!

So I worked on the truck today. Installed a new carrier bearing, a new u-joint, threw a new tailshaft seal in my the driveshaft was out. Radiator is back in, and the oil pump and dizzy are lined up, I believe haha. Have to get that tomorrow. Picked up some 75w-90 gl5 amsoil for the tranny. So I'll be throwing that in tomorrow and oil in the motor. Then have a couple connectors to connect and hopefully the truck should Fire Up!!!! We shall see!

I can't figure this stupid engine out. Rather than sinking more money into the dumb Ka, I think I'm going to go a completely different route. I'll post one of these years if I go through with the idea!

No way jose. If I go through with this idea, the truck will be changed forever

But in other news, my bother got some rare wheels for his Colorado!

Also I painted one of my kosei forever ago, then I just decided to finally finish painting them then im going to sell them to fund my next big move on the truck!

This just keeps getting better and better, but I think I'm going to be in a retirement home before we get any driving videos and stuff. Keep it up man, can't wait to see what comes next.

In the last 3 years, a decent amount. In the last 2 years like 4 miles haha. As soon as I get these damn wheels sold, I can get the next big idea started. But until then I just don't have the money.
