The front is bolted up in the stock fender locations, the rear is moved over and i drilled a new hole with a big self tapping screw for now. Then the bottom i made a bracket for. Im either going to get sheet metal and widen the top and mount it up in the stock locations. But im more than likely going to just leave it as it and make a piece of sheet metal to cover the whole top and rivet it to the top of the fenders with rivet nuts and mount it in the stock location so it goes with the look of the truck also i will then be supported in the middle by the screw.Originally posted by Illegit View PostSorry I'm still pretty shit with describing things and knowing the names of things.
I mean wide fenders/ wide body front.
Like what your doing at the moment (glad I joined in this thread at the perfect time)
Have you just got your original front quarter hanging on at the front where it originally did, then welding a sheet to fill the gap?

P.s. love the roll pan and I dig your long wheel studs, I wouldn't mind getting some for mine once I get some dope dishy steelies.
That yellow cars black wide fender bits look super cwazay.
Can't wait for more.

Couldnt agree more. My buddy just got reps of the J's fenders for his s2000 (orange car) look crazy. Their actually the fenders that gave me the idea of the straight line. Ive been throwing ideas around in the head for a while. But im just gonna leave them as it atm and put my money towards things i need more. Cuz history repeats itself and ill find myself modifying everything down the road again haha

I too like the wide fenders better than the flares...HOWEVER...they do kind of have that unfinished...I-just-hacked-off-part-of-my-fender look to them. Might I suggest doing something like this:
(the black angled parts)

or

To give it more of a finished look.

Thanks man, I feel it looks decent at this height and dont really need the flares to cover up wheel gap anymore. And just so everybody knows the truck WILL GO LOWER ONE DAY!Originally posted by dubmr2 View Posti like the wide fender thing better than the flares, they didnt match the rear at all so it looked weird
trucks really coming together
