  • My dailydriver BMW E28

Felt like making a little thread about my BMW, had it for about 2 years now. But just been laying around because of no driving lisence. But will hopefully get it the 4th of January! So I think it's time to start fixing it.

Plan now untill 4th January is basicly just to get it run well.
Sadly it's just a M10B18 which is in it...

I have some springs on hand, which I will go get in a month or so.
Bought some BBS RZ429 17x8" for like a year ago, but missing spacers.

The final plan is to keep it simple and clean but low with some new rims in the future.

My grandfather had it for 10-15years, then my uncle had it for 2-3 years.
    It's okey for rust.

    The day I bought it:

    Engine:

    Removed the chrom fenders:

Cleaned the fenders and mounted some random 17" rims:

    Interior:

    Some detailing:

Mounted some 18" BMW M5 rims I got from my uncle:

    Bought a new front bumper:

The rims which will be on this season, as you see I need spacers first:

Where it sits atm, which winter rims, MIM 16":

Probably forgot something, but atleast theres alot of pictures.

I think 17" at maximum, so when I'm looking for new rims, I'll might get 16". Depends what comes up first.

It's only driven about 68000miles aswell.
Their okey, my wish was to get some BBS RC090, but I got them for a nice price.
          So why not!

            I'm on 18s and wish I had 17s.

Great looking car. Only thing I would do is lose the M stuff. I don't like it when non Ms have the badge.

Don't worry, M stickers, emblems are going of. So is the 518i emblem

Anyone have some experience with removing those emblems anyway, guess theres lots of old glue under.. That's why I havent removed it yet.

Looks like a solid car to start from. I think 17s max though. 16s depending on how low you go
Expect problems and eat them for breakfast.

Bought a pair of new seats today, Recaro black leather.
Driving seat got a little cut but guess I'll fix it some how! :-)

Camera on mobile didn't work, so just found a picture on Google Pictures of the same type. ;-)

                              *Tripple post... T_T

Might look I will just go all the way on this car, looks like I've found a new dailydriver car.
My uncles' Mercedes W202, took a few pictures of it yesterday and it looks pretty damn good rust wise!! :-)

Sadly I have no clue what engine there is in it, probably a 1.8 I guess. I didn't have the keys to the car, so couldn't check chassis number/certificates of title. :-(
