  • The 6 Build Thread

Had a chance to pick up one of my dream cars a couple of weekends ago and I had to do it. It's a one owner 88 635csi. I bought it with a completely blown suspension and broken front seat but other than that it's perfect.

    Current plans are:
    -Maintenance
    -Coilovers
    -Refresh all suspension parts
-Making the rs's wider or converting them to 17s

    Here are some pics

Little update, picked up some Ground Controls. Should be sitting nicely as soon as I figure out how to get rid of the SLS. If anyone knows how, let me know.

As for the SLS, gut the inside of the pump and cap off the lines. Easiest way around that one.

Thanks for the feedback. As for the ellipsoids, I had no idea that they were rare when I bought the car haha another score!

The way I ended up doing it was removing all the lines and the bombs but leaving the pump from the trunk, I just disconnected it and bent the line coming from the trunk down so if it does leak at all it will be on the floor. I drained as much of the fluid as I could though.
