I got one of the upgrades I was really looking forward to. I just picked them up from my buddies house because I have a habit of shipping my parts there since we bought our tools together so I just keep the tools at his house and work on our cars there. Anyway, time to check these off my list. I present these Hella Euro projectors!

I'll be painting the metal rings tomorrow and mounting them. My E30 is already pre-wired for projectors so I shouldn't have a problem getting these installed. I'm so excited! I only spent $150 total and they're in near perfect condition! I finally get to say goodbye to those horrid US spec headlights. lol

Looks good. But like the others said, why not just look for an e30 m3?

Well I got my new headlights installed today. Along with installing the new lights, I decided to paint the rings. And thats my small on-the-go toolbox. lol

Say goodbye to these disgusting headlights for good!

Rings are sanded and ready for paint.

Loving the new light output. However I'll need to upgrade my fuses.

And I hope I can get more pics of my car in its current state. I hope you guys like the wheels and tires I have mounted. Pics coming soon!

I wish I could afford an E30 M3. Maybe when I get a good job and have a family.

So the weather in Sacramento hasn't been the greatest for a photo-shoot so I'm afraid you guys will have to wait a bit longer till you see my latest modification to my car. So in the meantime, I felt like developing my video editing skills. This video took me around 5 hours to edit. None of the footage or music is mine however a few Stance|Works regulars will probably notice a few of their cars in this montage of mine. I picked my favorite videos and just downloaded them and tried to make something enjoyable to watch. I hope to start filming and editing some more. I just ordered a GoPro Hero3 Black Edition and I can't wait to start filming with it. Stay tuned and enjoy!

I got a few things done today with the help of my brother. My cluster had issues with lighting on the left side which is the speedometer side. So as a result I decided to get this fixed with LED lighting. Since I have no idea how to do wiring, my brother showed my the basics and installed some red LED strips. And I have to say, It's absolutely stunning. This iPhone pic does not do it any bit of justice.

I also purchased an HID kit since he had a few extra lying around. Since I've already fitted the projectors, fitting the HIDs was a piece of cake. Along with purchasing the kit, I had to get some food.

Now I can't decide which looks tastier. I also got some zip ties since I don't have any boxes to fit the ballasts in. That may be my next project.

Oh well.... It's always good to have zip ties on hand. So here's a comparison between the tow sets of bulbs. Can't really tell a difference in these photos but there's a stark contrast while driving. I'm happy with the result.

As for the big update, the reason I'm holding out is because my buddies 330Ci is coming back from the shop and will be getting a few upgrades during the weekend. Hopefully after they are done we'll be all prepared for the photoshoot and the first EuroSunday of the year (which will be on the 27th). Stay tuned!

Hello everyone. Well I had a bit of unfortunate luck with my E30 these last two weeks. I was waiting to go to work one cold morning and my rear window shattered, probably from the defroster being on too long.

But luckily I found basically brand new glass at pick-n-pull for both front and rear glass since my front windshield had really bad rock chips and cracked from top to bottom on the drivers side. My brother did a great job of showing me how windows are mounted. It's just as hard as it looks! LOL Well anyway, this happened right before EuroSunday which was bummer because I couldn't wait to take my car there with her new shoes. I wasn't able to get a photoshoot possible because my buddy with the amazing camera was sick. But I hope these iPhone pics will do the job. Ok, let's start from day one, which was almost 5 months ago. I purchased some 15x8 et. 25 XXR 530 wheels online. I bought simple cheap wheels simply because I wanted something with a wider tire with lower treadwear for handling purposes. They're also all the same size. Not sure why I decided that especially since I could have gone a bit wider on the rear wheels. I picked them up and test fitted them and I thought I'd have to roll my fenders since my E30 is already lowered some. I'm not 100% positive but I believe it's sitting on H&R sports springs.

I also got some Toyo Proxes R1R 225x45x15 with 140 tread wear.

This is my brother showing me how to mount, balance and rotate wheels and tires.

And that's how I drove her home.... With no spacers.... I don't know what I was thinking. Well I quickly put in an order for aluminum spacers and I installed them myself.

After that quick install, I have never been so happy driving. Even my M3s had more steering wheel vibrations on stock wheels than my E30! I can't believe she drives this well. So now it's time for my tiny camera photoshoot. The first two are just GoPro Hero3 pictures that I thought I would try out.

These next ones are with my trusty iPhone 5.

I hope you guys enjoyed! I hope to get some useful criticisms and compliments. I can't wait to work on the next phase of my car. Sadly the next stage is going to take ages. Especially with all the research and parts I'll have to do. I have decided I would like to do an S52 swap with an OBD1 conversion, E30 M3 brakes and 5 lug swap with the classic E39 Style 5 17x8 et. 20 wheels, E30 M3 suspension and hopefully a big brake kit. I wish I had the overflowing money to do it all at once, but I'm just a college kid. I may ask a lot of questions and I may seem as a nuisance but I don't mean to be. I'm just trying to learn as much as I can so that I can work with my own two hands, and maybe a few friend's hands. Thanks everyone for looking at my build so far!

Those headlights look like OEM U.S. ellipsoidal projectors to me... ? Even if they were Euro non-smilies, they would still have a city light which I am not seeing. Hope you didn't get hosed- $150 for stock US lights is very steep.

Perhaps you should also look into replacing those silver screws you have used to mount your grills with OEM black ones. Would make a noticeable difference.

You are correct. They are US ellipsoids. I got them for $75 on ebay. I wasn't ready to spend a big amount on headlights just yet. And as for the silver screws, it was all i had around the house at the moment. Those will be changed soon as well.
