Okay, I finished tucking the exhaust closer to the car...
I cut another coil from the rear springs equaling 3 coils total cut.
I took off my front air dam radiator valance thing (which was destroyed, lol)
And I put the front down to where it tucks rim.......

    And then....
I saw that I have 1" ground clearance at my k-member (front subframe, for you non-mustang guys)
    I wanted to go lower!!!

I went for a test drive, and noticed I don't scrape as much on speed bumps, but when I was on the road I hit a rough spot, and slammed my k-member!
I think I may go up a half inch or an inch, and just get flush from there......

Sorry, I promised pics, but they'll have to wait til tomorrow. It got dark too fast and my camera doesn't work in the dark (cell phone lol)

Time to start on the exhaust tuck and slam my car!
I put the coilovers on last night but couldn't get pics, so I'll post later today.
With every modification I do, I feel a great improvement in handling! I love the 350lb springs so far.
I can't even push my car down, because the springs are so stiff, but the Koni SA's make it ride soo nice.

What do you mean "too low for cut springs"..?

And yeah, the wing is a bit much, but I'm starting to get used to it. It looks much better with the top up with that wing than with it down though.
It's a good thing I have this extremely tacky hood to make the wing blend in a little bit lol.

I checked how many coils I cut, and it's 3 coils from the front and 2 from the back. Not sure how many inches that adds up to, but I think I had like 8" ground clearance before, lmfao!! I'd say it's somewhere between 4-5" lower than stock. (in the front)

Here's some pics of the whole car, currently. (yeah, its ugly at the moment, but block out the back wheels in your mind, lol)

I need to paint that door, but I'm too focused on suspension, haha. I was painting it one piece at a time with spray paint and stopped at that door (and the hood) lol.

I think I want to lower the back 1/2-1" and raise the front 1/2".... What do you guys think?
I don't like how my rims scrub my fenders when I go over a bump with the wheels turned...
But then again I need roll/pull... But I think I could have more flush-ness with a little less drop.
Or modify stuff under the car for less scraping and go lower..?? Maybe.. lol

High five for doing up a Fox...I don't really get the fur either but whatever, it is your car.

Also interested to see what you think about the coil over sleeve deal - I have an '84 LX.

Keep up the good work, I have an 89 gt as well and I love this car. I'll be watching what you do with this. Let me know how you like the coilover setup, I'm planning on doing this soon as well and want to get others opinions on the ride/adjustability of them.

I have no idea how much it's lowered... My cats are an inch off the ground though... lmao. My air diffuser under the front bumper scrapes the ground when I push the brakes too hard lol (it's 1/2" off the ground). I cut like 3 coils from the front and 2 from the back (I think, maybe 4 and 3. I'll check tomorrow)... My back is an inch higher than the front.

The car really doesn't handle bad, except for the bumpsteer which is minimal and doesn't really bother me (I have a bumpsteer kit, just not adjusted. I threw it on to get the car driving). I am going to fix it when I get a chance though. I do have sn95 control arms and spindles though, but fox length ones shouldn't handle any worse. Only thing the control arms gave me is a bunch of camber, which doesn't affect the ride from what I've noticed. It's a whole lot more responsive in steering.

I think I'm going to raise it 1/2"-1" in the front when I put the coilovers on, because it's starting to get annoying scraping on EVERYTHING.... lol

I was drifting tonight and ran straight over a slightly raised spot in the road and it hit my k-member and launched the front up off the ground... I thought I broke something, but I drove 30 miles after and it was fine. I'm putting it on the lift tomorrow to see what all got hit.

Yeah, I have the bearings and i have caster/camber plates. They're Koni single adjustable struts, with Maximum Motorsports coil-over kit and caster camber plates, and QA1 350lb 9" springs.

I really need to re-route my exhaust because it scrapes on everything, lol... I'll probably do that and the coilovers this weekend.
