In addition to my '84 Mustang GT convertible project, I have a 1974 Ford Gran Torino, that I've had for about 5 or so years now.

In the past couple of years I've kinda wavered back and forth between wanting to sell it or not. I've come to the decision that I'll kick myself in the ass 10 years from now for selling it, so I've got to do something to it. I've never seen one lowered more than 2 or 3 inches, and the car sits like a truck. With some modification to the suspension and/or frame, I see no reason why I can't set this car on the ground. It's got giant wheel wells, ridiculous amounts of room to tuck some 18's. Not sure whether I want to put it on air, or keep it static. I had a friend do a quick shop of a photo with this result

And I think that looks pretty damn good. I can order some pretty stiff springs, and i'm not afraid to cut springs on the car, it already handles like a boat, so I really can't make it handle worse. Plus, the inboard springs in the front end mean i'll get some ridiculous front camber. I'm willing to say fuck it and give it a shot. Car is completely solid rust-wise. Just has a few dime sized spots here and there. 17 1/2 feet long, 4300 lbs.
