Displayed the Bandit at a local bike show this weekend, the bike got a great response.







I've put about 1300 miles on it since I finished the build, too. The bike runs/rides great.

Thanks, I'm really pleased with it. Still a few things I want to do with it, but the budget was running out, so I skipped a few things that weren't necessary, like some nicer hand controls, braided brake lines in the front, and a nicer headlight (light output is worthless on the one that's on there).

I also need to reshape the foam on the seat a bit to make it more comfortable. I'll probably recover it in alcantara when that happens.

A pic from the Backfire gathering in Ballard last night (it's a local custom bike gathering that happens monthly during the summer here, about 400 bikes showed up last night). The bike got a surprisingly warm reception, there was a crowd around it pretty much all night.
