  • that low smiley 3. (lots of pictures!)

hey guys... My names Scott and im 19 years old from NJ. (originally England) I drive a 2011 Black Mica Hatchback and decided to make a build thread to show everyone what my cars been through and whats next in the near future!
    Brand-spankin new:

First mod was a Corksport SRI but i dont have any pictures of it that i can find so take my word for it lol
Next mod was an Eibach Pro-kit:

Got a good deal on some rx-8 wheels shortly after:

    blurry picture lol

painted the wheels a dupli-color gun metal and plastidipped my badges:

    Test fitting some plasti-dipped kosei k3's, 18x8.5 et30.:

This was the ugly color underneath hours of peeling off the dip:

(not quite sure what i was thinking, someone shouldve slapped me)

installed my bc racing coilovers and boy did i rub... and look like an idiot haha

Sold those wheels and lowered my car a little more on the stockies... low was becoming an addiction!

Picked up yet another set of rx8's and decided to do something a little different this time....

Got them powdercoated Bronze!! & Vht nightshaded my ugly tailights.

    added a hd lip

I was gonna add some spacers and try and make the rx8's flush but decided that wasnt the route i wanted to go and i wanted something a little more wider.....
such as..... EVOx wheels! 18x8.5 et38 (lower offset and smaller tires than the kosei's so im no longer mexiflush!)
    & added a ms3 axle back.

Started my interior. bubble shift knob.

wanted moar low, so i took out the rear perches!

Picked up a m-style lip from ebay!

Corksports led kit, yellow lamin x and hid's were added at some point too lol.

didnt like the old plaid or shift knob so i changed it up.
    & bought a mountain dew.

Went out with my friend and his Jazzblue GTI.

Painted and made an evil M!

Most recent pictures! Winter mode 2012.
Took off the evo wheels so that i can get smaller tires and get them powdercoated...
Bought myself a roofrack and thule wind fairing, sold the second hand blown bc coilovers and picked myself up a set of shitty race lands (for the mean time)
I honestly dont think theyre much different from bc's at all.. racelands go way lower and the only downfall is not having adjustable front camber plates and dampening settings.
oh, and i cracked my lip

bought a jbr heavy shift knob and stage 2 short shift plate & bushings.

And thats where im with it now! stay tuned for more exciting things in the future!!

Evo wheels fit 3's perfectly. I'm on the lookout for a set of Evo X MR wheels myself..

+1 with the evo wheels. They looked good on your car, when you put them back on you should throw a spacer in the rears and lower the car more
