If your trying to get a decent size tire that isn't a temp, check out Continental's 145/65/15. I ran them on the front of my 58 and they were by far the best tire for a lowered beetle..

    Just a tip.
the temp tires will suffice for now. my beam isnt narrowed, but if i do narrow it in the future, then i'll be going with a bigger size tire

its a pretty weird suspension set up. its drop spindles, stock beam, and 135 tires up front. but ive also taken out the adjuster screw which basically mean there are no springs. so thats how i get it to lay beam. i have air shocks and some management stuff coming in soon and thats how ill be able to pick it up. pm me if you have any other questions about the air shocks or anything. its a great route to go with the front!

How the heck did I miss this??? That's a great deal and most of the dis assembly was already done for you! Makes a lot of things so much easier. It's like a blank canvas!

I've been wanting one of these myself for a while. But I have a car buying problem and have prevented myself from buying "personal" project cars until I "finish" at least one of my projects and get it on the road. That is VERY hard to do.

I go back and forth in my head about fender or fenderless after seeing the wire wheel one in this picture. Although I'm sure your going to make it look good!
