      little bit of an update

I went with silver, nath said do silver as soon as I got em, I liked it, as soon as I saw anyother colour, it made my mind up that is was to indeed be silver.
I also wanted to do it myself, I like to feel a sense of satisfaction when doing things and it was a fucken awesome thing to do, building them all the way from stockers to finished wheels. good fun, anyway..
wheels sanded and prepsoled, this is the reason why I will never do this again

such a cunt of a job, my hands are killing me
      initial coat of silver,

2 coats of silver, 2 coats of clear, I'm likin it!

now, in between coats I had to clean these up, pretty easy job, bit of wax and grease remover, and a blade
      turned this

      to (*shittest pic ever)

time to put them together, I read that you put a sticker on them as you do them up, it worked but I was sweating so bad that they didn't stick, but I found it easier just putting the sticker on the first one, as it gives you your starting point

      front 2 done

and all done, I'm fucken wrapped!

from my own miss measurement, the rears are actually 9.5s lol all my measurements were from pics of the wheels in japan, and they were together like
      centre
      inner
      outer

      I put them together like
      inner
      centre
      outer

so the center width has added to the overall width of the wheel

tires will be on over the weekend, dying to see them on the car now!

                  update with the wheels on!
well, not quite done, as I'm not 100% happy, but thats what its all about, slowly fucking slowly...
                  rear stretch, the tires are 195 55 15's on a 9,5

fronts are 195 50's, too fucking small, so I'm going to get some 195 55's

stuck in the driveway, need to make some ramps

the overall pic, rears need rolling something fierce, not raising it at all, in fact I want to go lower

rears, fit fucking nice, just need that extra 3mm out of the guards

                  same ol boring spot

fron the front, fronts look the worst there

                        cheers guys!
well I pumped the guards atiny bit, so I bought the back down another 4mm, then when I took it for a drive and it settles it seemed like another 10, but, i no complain!
so thats the back settled, now just the front this weekend and it should be lookin cool!
took it for a spin, drives good (had to take the bar off to get it out of the driveway, couldn't be assed making ramps tonight)

specs as it sites, 15x9.5-6R and 15x9-8F

pretty sure they are Toyo R1Rs on the back

but why not put them on the front too?

R1Rs are better the Proxes 4 you have on the front

cheers fellas, yeah they are r1r's on the rear, didn't put them on teh front cause I wasn't sure waht tire size I was going to go for, which is good cause these tires are getting scrapped on teh weekend in favour of some 195 55's!
