little bit of an update

I went with silver, nath said do silver as soon as I got em, I liked it, as soon as I saw anyother colour, it made my mind up that is was to indeed be silver.
I also wanted to do it myself, I like to feel a sense of satisfaction when doing things and it was a fucken awesome thing to do, building them all the way from stockers to finished wheels. good fun, anyway..
wheels sanded and prepsoled, this is the reason why I will never do this again

initial coat of silver,

2 coats of silver, 2 coats of clear, I'm likin it!

now, in between coats I had to clean these up, pretty easy job, bit of wax and grease remover, and a blade

time to put them together, I read that you put a sticker on them as you do them up, it worked but I was sweating so bad that they didn't stick, but I found it easier just putting the sticker on the first one, as it gives you your starting point

and all done, I'm fucken wrapped!

from my own miss measurement, the rears are actually 9.5s lol all my measurements were from pics of the wheels in japan, and they were together like

inner
outer

I put them together like
inner
centre
outer

so the center width has added to the overall width of the wheel


tires will be on over the weekend, dying to see them on the car now!

heres whats been happening of late, finally got the BBS's, and the lips

the beggining of stage 2
so, I was over the car looking like a 4wd all the time, and I was over the 18s. so last october I decided to buy some BBS's.
then, I think iain pointed out that if I go 15's, I'll need coilovers for the front, I agreed.
after fucking around with the idea of S13 shit, I decided to buy a set of mattys coils, best thing I ever did for the car, they're brilliant!
so heres the picture book version
import struts, absolute bargain, with twin pot 33 n/a calipers,

the gland nuts were a pain in the ass to get off!
so once they were all apart, chopped to foot off, and welded it to these bad boys!

and all done, thanks NATH!

so now they needed to go in the car, so I smashed the rears in and that took about 20 mins, and then the fronts, which, were absolutely piss easy as well, bled em up, too it for a spin, and man, its fucken awesome!

now with all the suspension being done, i was pretty happy, drove awesome, sat well, stopped well, just needed some wheelsszzz
so after around 3 years on teh boat, my bbs's finally came in

no centre caps, no probs, cause I bought a set, mas a well have used a fucking dinner plate, cause I bought the wrong ones (just reminded me to check the OTHERset I'm bidding on now)
the one I bought were 20mm too big, and the thread was the same size as the hub bore, fucken MORON
anyway, they needed to come apart regardless.
so I cooked some lunch

then took em apart

they were coming apart for these guys.

3inch front lips, making the fronts 15 x 8 - 2 and 3.5 inch rear lips, making them 15 x 8.5 -8
and to be a baller, ballerz told me that I also needed these, he also said that he out drifted marvis the other day, what a mad snake

so with all that done, all that was left was to mock them up

can't put em together yet as bits still need painting, and one is off getting the rear barell fixed as it had a fucking crack in it!

so thats where its at ATM, should be on teh ground and unable to get out of the driveway in the next week or so

after all that, I decided to stay with silver, I think the colours are a bit fad, and I'll be over them in like a month, can't beat silver!

any 15" RS cap would fit RS032s

i know 16" and 17" RS's share the same caps coz i interchanged mine

yeah I can't wait either, what a fuckaround though, turns out I bought RG centre caps, I have BBS RS 032, which have part numbers that are IMPOSSIBLE to find the caps for, so fuck knows what I'm going to do there, plus one was cracked from japan, so it's in the shop getting fixed now, these BBS's, I swear, better look good, or I'll do a brakie till they turn to nothing LOL
anyway, nuthe rpic from the other day, too sunken battle ship at the rear, but I was too hungover to even think about putting the spacers on

oh man those wheel specs you are getting are like 1mm difference from what i was gona get my SSRs widened too.

can't wait to see how they look/fit, since it will be a while until i can afford widening mine

Always loved this car! Looks good on the 15's, never really liked reverse mesh though cos of no stepped lip so the BBS should suit perfect in my opinion

Kerelm your 33 looks the goods man, I know what you mean though, this is my 4th 31, once they had a hold of me, I was hooked lol
