  • Does STANCE WORKS cover motorcycles? Just in case, here is a Triumph 650

I have this 65 Triumph 650cc Tiger build I have been working on for a bit, and cant quite get the time to finish it up.. I was going for a cross between a early Boardtracker and a sort of drag bike, and it was coming together when I had a bit more time on my hands.. It is basically ready for paint and plating at this point, so hopefully I get it ready for the Spring.

Here is what I started with.. It was a pretty ugly 70's custom build, with all typical 70's mods.

Here is what they look like in their original form.

Here is what I am at now, and I really like the transformation.. Nothing on this bike is cookie cutter, and everything is basically one off, and hand fabbed. I also tried to use all retro or resourced nostalgic parts, because I think it really makes the bike look like it could have been period built barn find.

The tires are close to the fenders so I see this as a "stance" build.. per say.

Awesome design though, I'm a sucker for a cool bike.

lol when i saw what you started with, i wanted to shoot kittens with large guns but then i saw where you are now, and i am pleased. reminds me of my xs650

my favorite parts on that bike are the: glass fuel filter on the carb, the oil can, and the headlight.

you also did a great job on the frame, wheels, and all that other stuff too. i like low bars, but not ones that actually point downward. also dont like reverse levers, but thats my problem lol. looking forward to more pics/updates/video? I'd like to hear it running!
