havent updated in a couple months. alot has happened.

i sold the gs400. 12mpgs just wasnt practical. if i did more highway driving i would have kept it but in the city the v8 was a hog.

s13 got finished. i completely re-worked the suspension after paint, new brakes, exhaust etc... and i could not stand all the attention it got so it had to go.

then i flipped a mint volvo 740 turbo. i had plans to chop the coils and dump it but it was just too clean to hack up.

so the eg got tein basic coilovers, buddy club wheels with new tires, jdm corners, a new ecu, and a new recaro seat. i have no plans to ever sell this car. new paint will happen soon.

then i paid my house off!!!!! debt free baby!!!!! i have been working hard for the past 4 years throwing any extra money i have at the mortgage. i just got married in september so i decided to kick it in gear and get the job done. my house is really small. we are saving for a larger house hopefully with a larger garage that i can install a lift and get some better equipment.

so i snagged up this 01 gs300 for a winter beater. got it for $500. needed a bunch of work. brakes, oil seals, body work, etc... runs great now and turned out to be fairly clean after a good detail job.

and i got this ek to play with and make some money. it needs a clutch. still saving to set up the red eg for the road course next spring.

its been a busy first half of the summer.

s13 is almost ready for primer, finally. it took way too much work to get it down to a workable finish. its almost completely down to bare metal.

cut the rear fenders up about 5" to fit fatties.

last week i scored this gem for a deal. i've been in the market for a rust free eg for 2 years and one finally poped up for sale locally. i had to have it, needs paint but its rust free and has nice interior.

ha! that was in my top two options but my painter said no. he wants to paint his car that color. it will be a toyota color though!

zip strip/paint thinner combination and lots of rubbing with steel wool has turned out to be the best to get rid of this gunk.

started body work. the combination of plastic dip/rustoleum/4 layers of other kinds of auto paint will make this a very difficult job.

ordered coils, bought some cheap shitty wheels on CL.

    started collecting 18s last week.

traded the ef sedan for this

i've had it for a week but i havent been able tear into it yet. the engine runs great. the car is a very nice southern rust free example. its got some cool shit on it already. the paint is fucked. all the body panels are fucked. and the interior and hvac are all gone. the only thing i've done is install the shit fitting front bumper that looks like poo. the car came with a big box full of adjustable suspension arms and rods for the car, as well as some derlin bushings that i'm sure need to be installed.

i've got less than $600 into it. plans are to throw some parts at it, make it look better, enjoy it for a bit, then sell it for a profit. i just sold my b16 swap today so parts will be getting ordered soon.

as for the gs, i've just finished getting it up to date on maintence. i decided to put it on the back burner for a while and just enjoy it as a daily driver.
