So I've lurked on here for a little while now and this summer I finally picked up a car just for fun.
Wasn't really gonna make a build thread but I'm bored so what the hell.
She's a 91 miata, not perfect but I got it cheap and I love it. First Day I got her home
The previous owner had it painted about 2 months before I bought it.
You can tell it was a cheap job, but if you're not up close it looks decent.
He also put those donktastic wheels on there and threw in a radio from a
millenium for some reason
. it sounded like a bag of dicks.
First thing I did was get some cheap bastard coils. first time ever driving stick or a low car so it's still pretty 4x4 status.

Finally got around to snagging some wheels on craigslist. If you can't tell by now this is a budget build so I picked up a set of Votex's with tires for 200 bucks. Also threw in a new radio because I could not stand the old one
And that pretty much how it sits. It's a tad lower than in these pics now. Hoping to take some more over the next couple days.
I apologize that I have the photography skills of a 6 year old
I realize it's still crazy high for a miata but I'm probably not gonna lower it any significant amount until next summer.
Long term plans are some nice wide wheels, simple lip, roll bar?, and obviously go much much lower. But in the mean time I'm gonna drive the nuts off this thing because it a fucking blast
