for starters I don't post much on this forum besides from for sale threads, and i have never posted a build thread ever so this will be my first! AND I WILL UPDATE DAILY
giving a little bit of background with cars, I've built 2 full on drift cars in the past and they are both show/track quality cars so not to disappoint anyone lol
AND
after those 2 car I kinda got out of the whole Japanese car scene and began to bag my daily(mercedes W210) and purchased a porsche. Went full on EURO for a year and decided it was time to get back in the game and build some more drift cars haha
I sold the mercedes recently and used the money to start my build which i will explain now.
All of my previous s13's have all had an SR in them so for this car i wanted to do a little something different. V8? 1J? 2JZ? but i was waiting for a deal to pop up. while i was checking out Zilvia.net one night i came across a s14 shell with a 2jz full swap for sale down in cali. super good deal so i gave the guy a call and left that night! hit my friend up who had a truck and trailer then left
blah blah blah drove there... picked up the car. had some good road hangs and went to IN-n-OUT successfully in 2 days.
I knew i wanted to build a coupe so i had no use for the s14 shell so I'm currently selling it now. with my motor all picked out and squared away i began looking at coupe shells to buy.
sadly i made an impulse buy to turn up for some profits
and bought a sr'd hatch from down in texas. this time i just said fuck it and had the guy ship it up here.
started out by stripping everything and taking all the shit i wanted to keep.
Z32 brakes, full rear candy subframe. SPL arms, PBM arms, Bride seat. ect...
couple days later i got a little side tracked and made some more impulse buys lol
Gramlight 57D's for the car 17x9+12 all around
and some new shoes for the daily: advan A3A's
besides that we are pretty much up to day with where i am at now.. was a busy weekend so i didn't have much time to take apart the hatch more and sell stuff off it. instead i just got shitfaced.. but oh well
when i get up i will upload some more pictures of some little stuff i have going for the build.
most likely rebuilding all 6 Z32 calipers i have. and ill keep this build updated probably everyday with something and some pictures.
