Going to school for arch too, I know how little time you have. Hahah.

school started up again but i was able to squeeze in some work on the Porsche before my freedom and money ran away..
found a booth to rent for 100$ and finally got it primed and ready for blocking (this is my first legit paint job, forgive me for my noob mistakes if you notice any)

and an all nighter of last minute sanding the night before and 6 hours of booth time/figuring shit out and a drive home with no windows or lights...BOOM!

haha no its not black. My phone has not been able to really capture the color of this car. once i buff it couple of my friends want to photo shoot and we'll see if their cameras can do the color some justice..this is all i have for now sadly

The third exhaust pipe is like the redheaded stepchild. It would be much cooler if the third pipe sat level with the ground, and the other two exhaust tips were polished, and have the same tip.

The reason people don't like it is because the shiny new third pipe looks too new(or the other two look too old), and it has erectile dysfunction. It's just hanging there.

IMO, the idea of the exhaust is killer. No need to pay a big company for something you can make yourself. The execution what is hard to accept in our eyes(redheaded step child).

thanks! yea i understand what you are saying and i agree. i wanted to chop off the shiny tip and make it level and maybe even shorter but this mod wasnt meant as a long term thing. Im actually planning on ordering pipe and mufflers to make a custom setup, kind of want something a little more quiet

yea its really a not love it or love it thing. most people are on the fence till they ask me about it. It was a cheap solution to a better sounding exhaust that is still somewhat period correct.
And i didnt wanna spend 800$ on one, so i made it

but yea thanks! maybe ill make a build thread for the bug one day..it would be a little hard though since i did so much work to it without taking any pictures

I'm liking this build. I was pretty happy to come across this just now as I have been researching these old 911's for the past few days, really starting to fall in love with them. Anyhow, I'll be following this, looking forward to see those wheels on.

CANCER TREATMENT phase:BUT before i get to that time to play catch up.
i finally got my alignment once i changed my rear suspension and trans. everything was really off, im really suprised how well the car handled through mountain passes with it being so out of whack

after looking at mufflers that were just way to expensive to put on an old motor i decided to make my own version of a triple exit rally style exhaust. Very similar to ones seen on 911rsr
i used some 2 1/2" pipe i had laying around and it made the car sound really raunchy and loud..with the occasional foot long fireballs when flooring it

i **** rust and rust loves hawaii weather so its a constant battle

so within a weekend my body is rust free and finally ready for paint. I setup a booth in my garage with a bunch of tarps and a fan. i THOUGHT i was on my way to a nice paint job but i only reached 1/2 primer due to neighbors and bad weather
