dont suppose you could list your full turbo set up? mani, turbo size etc? Looking to boost mine sometime next year and i wanna get a feel for what works well on them
Haha thanks dude, honestly I did the wheels purely to see how people would react. I didn't even like them when I bought them, but I had NEVER seen a set on a miata (not even on google images ) and I was sure it would piss some people off. Troll wheels...

    Anyway, turbo parts are;
    Turbonetics t3/t04 54trim upgraded/ported to a 60mm turbine wheel, IWG
eBay cast iron 1.6l t3 manifold
Downpipe is DIY with steel from Summit Racing and flanges, turbo blanket, and gaskets from treadstone performance.com
    Universal "stealth" FMIC setup

Still on stock fuel system for now, and its handling 10psi like a champ with solid AFRs. Upgrading to a Flyin Miata fuel system (fuel rail, injectors, pump)

    Things you will also need:
    Bigger radiator
    Oil cooler
(You should) M-Tuned coolant reroute kit

My car liked to overheat in the summer because of the excess heat from the oil running through the CHRA

    Hope that helps!

    Ian

aha yeah fair enough about the wheels man, the more i look at your car the more im on the fence lol. i'd be tempted to go fully polished faces with them

cheers for the info man, you still running stock pistons? and with the oil feed return from the turbo, did you tap/drill the sump? read somewhere that was the best routing for it. im a complete novice with turbos so if that makes no sense just ignore me aha

EDIT: forgot to ask, you had it on a dyno? love to see some power graphs for this

Yeah I might throw my stock daisies back on for winter and polish these bad boys over break.

Still on stock internals, but I have a ported head chilling on my coffee table and plans in the works down the road for forged internals.

I tapped the oil pan on the car. It was really easy to do with the car on a lift, and Flyin Miata has a technical write up on how to do it without getting any shavings stuck in the pan or anywhere else. Just remember; measure twice, drill once. I have not had it on a dyno yet, but I will try to get it strapped down come spring time after I upgrade the fuel system and the rear end. Charts will be posted. Lol

Lol thanks! All in good time...

                            Update!

Got home from my grandparents house and threw the car up in the air. Got the new master cylinder installed for the handbrake, bled the brakes yet again, rewired the gauge for the LC1, raised the right rear a little more to eliminate that effing rub, and checked all my fluids...

SUCCESS!!!! No more rub, even under hard cornering, AFRs are MUCH better after tuning/logging the other day, and the brakes function like normal again. *whew*
Im going to go ahead and call this a successful Thanksgiving.
